Man of Honor
Sam is Erica's youngest (and only) brother and best friend. Erica and Sam are seven years apart in age, but have been each other's best friend and confidant since very early. Erica and Sam share their love for travel and aviation + have gotten to travel the world together over the years, visiting places like Spain, Italy, Australia, and too many more places to name. When together, they are either hiking, singing, dancing, flying #firstclassy on a trip, planning their next trip, or co-piloting an aircraft. Erica can't think of anyone else she'd rather have by her side on her wedding day.
Best Man
Nate knew immediately who would be his best man. His dad, Bo, is his fiercely loyal and most admired friend. Bo spent his life before starting a family as a professional athlete, dedicating everything he had to be the best in his craft, and succeeding. Since becoming a father, it is clear that he holds the same passion for being a great dad, and better friend, to Nate. Together, they enjoy playing cards, drinking tequila, and general shit talking about whatever comes up (much to the dismay of mom, Edna). It’s not every day you get to invite your hero to be your best man.
Matron of Honor
Hillary (or "Hilda") is Erica's sister. Born just twenty-one months apart, Erica and Hillary grew up closely & shared their love for horses - riding and showing all over the Southeast throughout childhood. Hillary also made Erica "Auntie Erock" to three of her favorite little humans. There were some wars over toys, horses, and clothing over the years, but one thing has stayed the same - they have always been best friends.
Groomsman
Ricardo and Nate met through mutual friends in high school and quickly became best friends. One night, during a particularly intense game of Call of Duty, a friend remarked, “Dude, you are over here so much, you might as well move in.” And so the roommate chapter commenced. They bonded over their love for the Phoenix Suns, Arizona Cardinals and Dave Chapelle AND their distaste for the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Cowboy fans and fair catches. There were many adventures in the house, (thankfully none on our permanent records) and though the roommate days are in the past, Nate is excited for Ricky to continue to be a great lifelong friend.
Maid of Honor
Courtney is Erica's youngest (biological) sister. Erica and Courtney, although four years apart, have always shared a bond that was unshakeable and unbreakable. These are your good-time girls. They share a zest for life and, when together, are the duo that is the life of the party. Ask us about our SE Asia cruise ship club night. It'll be worth it. The adventures (aka trouble) that these two have shared span locations such as Singapore, Thailand, Las Vegas, Bali, California, Arizona, South Carolina, and too many other places to name. Most of the time, when together, they can be found listening to Morgan Wallen, eating Funions, drinking PBR, and always wake up next to glow sticks.
Groomsman
Tony regularly goes out of his way to join Nate for Sunday shenanigans (and regularly calls off Mondays). Through the years, they’ve hiked, camped and partied the night away. You can routinely find both at each other’s family gatherings, holidays and cookouts. Tony is famously well-dressed and always brings an epic playlist (and sometimes killer guacamole). Ladies, if you need someone to teach you how to dance- Tony’s your guy!
Bridesmaid
Natalie is sister to Nate and #bff to Erica. All should know that upon Erica and Natalie deciding to become friends, Natalie announced that Erica would marry her brother. Who lived in WI. Over a year's time, Natalie continued to refer to Erica and Nate as each other's future spouse - even though they had never met. It wasn't until March 2020 that Natalie finally arranged for Erica and Nate to meet for dinner after Nate moved back to Phoenix. The rest is history... This woman actually hand-picked her sister-in-law. I don't know about you, but I am impressed!
Groomsman
Steve and Nate have known each other since 1994. Specifically, May 3rd (Steve’s birthday). Although he was quiet at first, Steve added an element of boisterous fun to the family. Together these brothers enjoy golfing, hiking, tasting wine and riding bikes. Their most enjoyable and prized pastime, however, is teasing and pranking middle sister and bridesmaid, Natalie.
Bridesmaid
Bianca (or "Bee") was one of Erica's first friends in the professional world. Erica and Bee met while traveling for Aspen Square, dating back to 2009. These girls found their foundation of friendship in laughter and travel. Meeting up in new cities every other weekend and sometimes spending entire nights together unable to breathe from laughing so hard. Bee, remember Chat Roulette? Las Vegas: "One night only!" These days, when they are together, you can find them noshing on charcuterie boards or eating ice cream flights. Erica had the honor of standing by Bianca's side when she got married several years ago and she is honored to have Bianca return the favor at her own wedding.
Groomsman
Moh and Nate met in Milwaukee at a restaurant… ok, it was at a bar…. Ok…. It was the DJ booth at night club. Anyway, they immediately became friends. Moh taught Nate about Saudi culture and cuisine and introduced him to Game of Thrones (they both think the final season was bs). In return, Nate taught him about Champagne, Costco, football, baseball and the American traditions of Thanksgiving (this is Moh’s first time being in an American wedding). They remain close and share new interests including crypto and cars, sometimes at DJ booths at night clubs.
Bridesmaid
Kayla is one of Erica's closest friends. Having met in 2009 while working as travelers, Erica and Kayla became even better friends when Kayla was expecting her oldest, Addie. After covering for Kayla's maternity leave in Palm Springs, Erica was tapped in as Kay's supervisor... and it gave them more opportunities to love & grow their friendship. Fast forward through years of these two living in different locations, they finally landed in Phoenix at the same time in 2019. Erica had the pleasure of being a bridesmaid to Kayla several years ago (at the CA & SoDak weddings) - planning an epic bachelorette party in Vegas (just saying - it really was epic). She is honored to have Kayla as part of the wedding squad.
Groomswoman
Ellen has been there through thick and thin. Nate recruited Ellen from Pennsylvania to work with him at the Spartanburg Marriott in South Carolina (and again to Milwaukee). Little did he know he had just recruited a best friend too! From dive bars to exploding jeeps to dog birthday parties, Ellen has become one of Nate’s closest friends.
Bridesmaid
Christina (or "Tia") and Erica met several years ago in Phoenix after at a mutual friend's baby shower. It was love at first hang out for these two (and Tim). They quickly bonded after Tim and Tia poisoned Erica with home-made Limoncello the first night they all hung out. There IS a photo - ask Christina to see it. They continued to build their friendship on a common love for champagne and Vampire Diaries (aka Champs & Vamps). Christina and Tim have always included Erica in all family holidays, events, and festivities while Erica has lived so far from home. Christina, Tim, and their boys and extended family have truly become family to Erica over the years.
Groomsman
Manny has played the role of big brother many times in Nate’s life. He’s been a confidante in career choices, cross country moves and, most importantly, as a super suave love guru. When he’s not fulfilling his groomsman duties, you can find him and Nate watching and debating sports.
Bridesmaid
Jessica and Erica met in 2011 through a mutual friend who knew Erica needed (1) a roommate and (2) a lash artist. It was quickly determined that these two were in this friendship for the long-haul. Boys, they'd come and go- but, Erica, Jessica, and Nala were the real deal in apartment #3005. Years have passed since being roommates, but these two friends have been there through it all - relationships, new jobs, new cities, Jess becoming a mama, so many annual Dewey Daze's/Friendsgivings, and too many other things to count - all the while (1) drinking wine and (2) finding the fun in almost every moment together.
Groomsman
Juan and Nate have been friends since grade school. Growing up together, they played basketball, played mortal kombat before he was allowed (sorry mom), and co-founded an epic party crew (again, sorry mom). Juan and Vanessa remain close friends and Nate and Erica hope to one day have neighboring season tickets for the Cardinals!
Flower Girl
Ruthie is (currently) Erica's youngest niece - making Erica "Auntie Erock" for the third time. Ruthie was a quick fan of Nate's, upon first meeting - bypassing her Erock's lap and climbing up on Nate's. She immediately renamed him "Nate Date" since she was told she was on a dinner date with Nate that night. We cannot wait to have Ruthie sprinkle the aisle with flowers in front of Erica in October.
Flower Girl
Parker Ivy is Nate’s first niece and the most outspoken of the Fisher family. At two, she’s successfully negotiated several behavior-for-food deals, countless “one more” Coco Melon episodes and can bend the resolve of her uncle Nate at-will. We are currently finalizing terms for her to perform as our flower girl in October.
Ring Bearer
Ben is Erica's (currently) youngest nephew, making her "Auntie Erock" for the second time. When together, Ben is his Erock's sweet sidekick and dinosaur aficionado. Ben loves visiting Erica in Arizona because she has a pool, they eat lots of donuts, and she has a carseat just for him. Ben says that Erock is "like a kid but a grown-up" and Erica loves that he thinks this about her. Ben has called dibs on carrying Erock's ring down the aisle in October.
Ring Bearer
Barret came into this world and made Nate an uncle for the very first time. However, if you ask him, he might say that he's a bigger fan of his Erock. When Barrett, Erock, and Uncle Nate are together, you can usually find all three singing and dancing to Michael Jackson. When they are not together, Barrett is asking his mom to FaceTime Erock and Nate to see if they are in Nashville.
Jr. Usher
Boyd is Erica's oldest nephew, and the first ever to make her "Auntie Erock." Boyd is a true outdoorsman, always volunteering to take Erock and Nate fishing when they are in SC. He is also an amazing big brother, always there to help Erock wrangle the younger two when she is brave enough to take all three kids alone on an adventure. Boyd is a big fan of Nate's boxing skills - getting his own punching bag for Christmas last year! We are honored to have Boyd join the wedding squad as a Jr. Usher in October.
