We met in March 2020 via introduction by Natalie Fisher - Erica's dear friend and Nate's younger sister. After more than a year of Natalie telling us separately that we would get married, we finally met. At a dinner with Natalie, her husband Joel, and their two sleepless and excited children - Nate made us all pulled pork tacos. And just like that, the world closed down for COVID and we kicked off our relationship - doing wine tasting dates at Natalie's house or by the firepit at the house where I lived. Things moved fast - I guess we found it to be true that "when you know, you know." And, when Nate got offered a job in Nashville after dating for three months, we had to make some quick decisions. After accepting the job, Nate told Erica he loved her while eating tacos at a car wash in Scottsdale. Contrary to Erica's original plans, we decided to try the long distance - and, boy are we glad that we did. We had no idea the fun and adventure that was ahead for both of us. Since then, we have split time between Scottsdale ("The West Wing") and Nashville ("The East Wing") - seeing each other as much as we possibly can - which has been quite a bit. We've had an incredible time learning about each other and admitting to Natalie that she was right all along - we were meant for each other. Each person that will be a part of our wedding day has had some influence on us as an individual or a part of our adventure as a couple. We are ecstatic to host our favorite people in Mt. Pleasant in October to help us celebrate our forever!
