The wedding will be at 'The Barn' at Tanque Verde Ranch on the East side of Tucson. The official address is: 14301 E Speedway Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85748.
We ask that all attendees get to the venue by 4:30p. We have the venue until midnight and plan to make the most of it ;)
Desert festival! Bohemian and eclectic! Think lots of colors, lights, and dancing of course!
Semi-formal/cocktail. We want you to wear something that's fun and makes you feel fabulous. Colors are highly encouraged. This is a desert festival wedding after all 😜 *Please make sure to keep weather in mind as you choose your clothing. Our venue is both indoor and outdoor. There will be fun activities in both areas. It can get cold at night. A sweater/jacket is recommended, as well as closed-toe shoes.
April in Tucson is a really beautiful time of year. Note that temperatures in Tucson fluctuate 30-40 degrees in a day. During the day, expect warm (but not hot) temperatures ranging from the low 80s/mid 70's. Remember there is little to no humidity so 80 degrees in Tucson feels less "hot" than 80 degrees in humid areas. At night, expect temperatures to dip as soon as the sun goes down. Temperatures can get as low as in the 40s.
Both! The venue is a large barn with big doors that open to a grassy field. Doors will be open assuming the weather permits.
Yes! Everything is happening at the same place.
Due to the high number of guests and the various medical sensitivities our guests have, we kindly ask that everyone being fully vaccinated (two vaccines). We encourage you to get the booster shots as well. Anyone, regardless of vaccination status, exhibiting any symptoms of illness will be asked to take a COVID test 1) when symptoms arise and 2) the day of the wedding. If you will not adhere to these requests we respectfully ask that you do not attend our wedding or any pre-wedding activities.
If your invitation says "and guest", you may bring a guest. However if your invitation does not say this, then we ask that you do not bring any extra people. If there are any issues you may message Nate or Camille to determine if the extra guest can be included (remember, there are limits to what the venue allows).
Yes, children are allowed at the wedding and should be listed on your invitation. However, if you'd like a night to yourself, do not feel obligated to bring your kids. We understand some parents want a night off. We respect whatever decision you make 😊
During the ceremony, cellphones will not be allowed. We respectfully ask that you do not take your phone out or take any photos/videos during the ceremony. Cellphones are okay before the ceremony, during cocktail hour, and during the reception - feel free to post pics as you wish at that point (and tag us in them!)
We do have a room block at the Tucson Hilton East for $149 a night, though space is limited. Even if you can't get a room block, this is a great hotel in terms of amenities and proximity to the wedding. A link to our room block can be found on the 'Travel' section of the website in header. Some people are also choosing to do AirBnB's. This is another great option. We recommend staying in neighborhoods of Central, Catalina Foothills, North East or East. Feel free to reach out to Nate or Camille if you want some help.
To get to the wedding, we suggest you take an Uber/Lyft/Taxi as parking is extremely limited at the venue. Towards the end of the wedding/reception, shuttle buses will be available to transport guests to the Tucson Hilton East. It will run every 30 minutes (starting around 10:00pm) with the last shuttle leaving around midnight. You are more than welcome to park your vehicle at the Tucson Hilton East and take an Uber/Lyft to the venue from there. That way, once the wedding is over, you can simply take the shuttle bus back to the Hilton and get home from there. This will be much cheaper than Ubering/Lyfting the whole way as the venue is pretty far in the outskirts of town. Also - please do not drink and drive. We love you and want you to make it home safely ❤
Yes! We got you!
