Ceremony Start Time & Arrival Time

Answer

Ceremony Starts At 2:00. Please be respectful of our time frame and do not show up any sooner than 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. The bride, the groom and the bridal party will be staging and getting ready at our house so again we ask that people do not show up earlier than 1:30. Thank You.

We ask that people not take pictures, recordings or have there phones out only during our very short ceremony. We have a photographer and we do not want them photographing people with there cell phones. We want people to enjoy the moment, be present and to see us through there eyes and not there camera lense. We want to see faces and not phones. Feel free to take as many pictures as you may desire before and after the ceremony phase of the wedding. We appreciate people being respectful of this request.

Parking

Parking will be available but we ask that people who are camping please carpool from Finnon Lake if possible. We also ask that anyone else who is able to make arrangements to park at Finnon and then carpool to our house please do so. Please park in the overflow lot and not at the campgrounds if you are NOT CAMPING. Thank you. We are a 3 minute Drive from Finnon Lake.

Overnight Accomodations?

Booking a hotel for the weekend of our wedding is an option. We are a 25 minute drive from most hotels that are located in Placerville. We are providing campgrounds to our guests located at Finnon Lake. It is first come first serve basis.

What To Wear

Answer

Our wedding is semi formal. Button up shirts both short sleeve or long sleeve is great for the gentleman. Blouse's or dress's are great are great for ladies. Boots fit our day and theme but are not necessary. Its great if you have a cowgirl or cowboy hat you would like to bring along but not needed. The weather will likely be the 80's or high 80's so plan for some warm weather and maybe a layer for our cooler evenings. It's an outdoor wedding with the Ceremony and dance floor on grass so comfortable shoes are nice.
