Take a stroll along the harbor, a 5 minute walk from the hotel blocks.

Embarcadero San Diego

Next to the hotel blocks is the energetic Little Italy neighborhood. Some of our favorites include Barbusa, Prepkitchen, Ballast Point Little Italy, and Salt & Straw ice cream.

Little Italy

We love exploring this neighborhood to grab tacos at Salud!, a beer at Border X Brewing, a coffee at Por Vida, or marvel at the murals in Chicano Park, rich in community history.

Barrio Logan

We used to live in North Park, a great neighborhood to grab a bite, a drink, or shop at the locally-owned boutiques. Some of our favorites are Bar Pink, West Coast Tavern, City Tacos, Dunedin, Shank and Bone, Pigment, and Artelexia.

No trip to San Diego is complete without a stop at the beach! Nearby beaches include Pacific Beach, Ocean Beach, La Jolla, and Sunset Cliffs for a walk along the cliffs at sunset.

You can take a $5 ferry across the harbor to visit Coronado Island for the day and explore the beautiful beaches, shop, dine, and visit the historic Hotel del Coronado.

The U.S.-Mexico border is a 20 minute drive from the hotel blocks. Don't forget your passport if you plan to take a day trip to Tijuana!
