The Village at Big Bear Lake
You’ll find all kinds of restaurants and stores along the streets of Big Bear Lake Village. From casual dining to jerky stores to ice cream shops, there is something to satisfy any craving you have!
Castle Rock Trail 1W03
The most popular trail in the Bear Valley - 2.4mi round trip. There is very limited parking on the north side of the highway 50 yards east of the trailhead. At the top of the ridge from the north side, the view of the lake is wonderful. The best part of this hike is that it’s downhill all the way home.
Big Bear Alpine Zoo
The Big Bear Alpine Zoo is a rehabilitation facility offering injured and orphaned wild animals a safe haven, as they are unable to survive on their own. Go see the beautiful bears! —You might just find Chase there all weekend. ;)
Grizzly Manor Cafe
Don't let the small size of the building fool you. They have the largest pancakes in town! Delicious spot for breakfast. Usually a bit of a wait, but be sure to reserve your spot in line on Yelp!
Teddy Bear Restaurant
Family style restaurant that serves the best Hot Chocolate in town! Great for breakfast or lunch. Try their pot pie if you're there for lunch. *They are a CASH ONLY location.
