Cisco's famous outdoor courtyard provides a place to relax and enjoy live music, fresh oysters and clams, food trucks, and Island favorite beers like Gripah, Shark Tracker, and Whale's Tale Pale Ale. Cisco has a courtesy shuttle van, traveling non-stop, back and forth, every afternoon between the Visitor’s Center downtown at 25 Federal St. and the brewery, for free.

At the turn of the 19th century, Nantucket was the whaling capital of of the world. For the history buffs (and/or Moby Dick fans), the Whaling Museum offers a wonderful insight into the rich whaling history of Nantucket and an opportunity to learn how this little island rose to become a global industrial capital.
Nantucket is very bike friendly, with paths stretching from Madaket (west) to 'Sconset (east). Bikes are easy to rent from Cooks, Young's, or the Nantucket Bike Shop, all located right in town. Stop along the way to see landmarks like the Old Windmill, the Jared Coffin House, or the island's famous lighthouses. The "Loop" of the 7 Mile Road and Polpis Road is a great way to see the entire island.

A casual, family-friendly spot for burgers and lobster rolls. The downstairs interior has the feel of an old whaling bar and is a cozy spot to sit by the fire on a rainy night, but if it’s warm out, ask to sit in the outdoor patio to the left of the main entrance. Does not take reservations.
Referred to as simply "The Box", this is one of the best dive bars in America. While there is no chicken, come here for great live music.
Want to hear live music but don't want to leave downtown? You're in luck! The building that used to be the Starlight movie theater was reimagined a few years ago to become the Gaslight, a bar, restaurant and live-music venue. The music kicks in at ten o'clock.
The Club Car is a fine-dining restaurant that incorporates one of the train cars from the old Nantucket Railroad as its bar (hence the name). Come here for drinks and the sing-along piano bar! The whole bar is singing along by the end of the night.
