Our PARENTS, hooked us up! He got my number from his Dad, I got his number from my Dad. I stored the number in my pocket for another day, he called me the next day. It was Thanksgiving Day 2017, and I received a call from a number I didn't recognize. Logically, I ignored the call but a few hours later curiosity led me to call the number back! I called him on my way to another meeting thinking this would be a quick exchange, but I was about an hour late to that lunch meeting. Best excuse to being late I have ever had! Lol. The connection was different , honest, and real! Unfortunately, that connection was about 746 mi apart. Since the beginning, our relationship has been long distance, and even after we marry, we will spend some months apart. But those miles never wavered our hearts. #thankGODforthecreationofFacetimeandfrequentflyermiles What could have been titled an "arranged marriage" turned into a "love marriage" in a years time. We are incredibly blessed to have each other and extremely excited to begin this new chapter of our lives.
