FAQs

If you have any other questions than the ones listed here, please reach out to Megan (our lovely maid of honor) at (813) 727-5308.
Question

What do I do if I can’t attend the wedding?

Answer

You will be missed! Please let Amanda or her maid of honor Megan know immediately or as soon as you find out and update your RSVP!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, due to venue restrictions, we’re accommodating only the children of close family. We’ve planned an evening tailored for adults to relax and revel. Your understanding in our decision to have an adult-focused celebration is greatly appreciated.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please check your invitation/RSVP to see if you have a +1!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

It is a traditional black tie event so we ask that you wear tuxedos or dark suits and bowties for gentlemen, and gowns or floor length dresses/gowns for the ladies.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged ceremony." That means phones will be away so that you can sit back and enjoy the ceremony and allow the photographers to document the special moments while maintaining the sacredness of the mass. During the reception we encourage you to use your phones for pictures and documenting the night! Please upload those photos/videos to our QR code so we can have all of the memories!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

We highly recommend getting a ride share service such as Uber or Lyft. If you decide to drive to the ceremony, there is parking in the Madison Building Garage for a $3 hourly charge or you can park at the on-street pay station parking spots. As for the reception at the Marriott Waterstreet, they have valet services for $15 (plus tax) for the day and $30 (plus tax) for overnight parking.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony and reception are all indoors! It is Florida, so we recommend checking the weather before deciding to bring an umbrella or not.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

As we all know, Florida can be pretty unpredictable. We expect the weather to be sunny and 85 degrees, however there is a possibility of it being colder, hotter, and even potentially raining. So, check your weather app and prepare for anything!

Question

What should I do in between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

On the event schedule, we have outlined some options you can choose to do during the time gap. We highly recommend getting a snack or some drinks at the amazing restaurants located in the downtown Tampa area! See the 'Things to Do' tab for more information.
