We're getting married!

Amanda and Ryan met at the best place in the world... the University of Florida, of course! At that time, they had only been introduced in passing when Amanda's sister had allowed her to visit and tag along to some college "events." Once Amanda started school at UF in 2017, Ryan and her seemed to always be drawn towards each other. There was just something "special" about their connection. Ryan was from Philadelphia and Amanda was from Tampa, so it was truly an act of fate and God that their paths had crossed. After a few date functions and spontaneous dinner dates, Ryan finally made it official on April 5th, 2019 in the beautiful city of New Orleans! Not soon after, they had to start their long distance journey as summer had quickly approached. Ryan was going to Asia for a few weeks to then begin an internship in Indiana while Amanda was studying abroad in Europe. Little did they know, there was a lot more long-distance to come. They had to navigate the relationship and commit to good communication, back and forth trips, and late night and early morning drives. They both knew that no matter how many miles were between them and however many days apart, they wanted to be together for the rest of their lives. After two and a half years of long distance, Amanda finally graduated in 2021 and they were finally able to live in the same city again! Amanda got her first teaching job in Jacksonville where Ryan was currently working. After a few months of being in Jacksonville, Ryan proposed to Amanda on October 21st, 2022. Ryan had "convinced" Amanda that they were taking family pictures at the Timuquana Country Club. Once they reached the end of the dock, he got on one knee and popped the question. Both of their families overlooked the proposal and then afterward they were able to celebrate and enjoy a beautiful dinner together. Once wedding planning began, they both agreed that Tampa would be the place they would tie the knot. Starting in August 2023, Tampa will be their new home and the perfect meeting space for all their friends and family to come together!
