We decided to give online dating a chance in our lives because...well...that's how most people are meeting nowadays. For our first date, we went to a Latin restaurant to share our culture together and spent several hours talking about our childhoods, family, and passion for education. It was already a special day for Elsa - early that morning, she walked across the stage and received her degree from Salem State University. To celebrate her accomplishments, Chrissy organized a surprise party that included Elsa's closest friends and family. Little did her family and friends know that there was a surprise for them too. As Chrissy stood to thank everyone for coming, she also took a moment to share how special a person Elsa is to her. Tears were already flowing when Chrissy said, "in honor of it being graduation day, I think it's time for us to also graduate our relationship to the next level". At that moment, cameras came out and people freaked out as Chrissy pulled out a box with two engagement necklaces and asked Elsa to be her wife. It was unique and special and us.
