We met in orchestra class through a mutual classmate, we all played bass and were in the same section, so naturally we hit it off and started hanging out outside of school hours.

Bear Lake, CO. We have been all up and down these Rocky Mountains trying to find -this- spot. Only took us two hours longer than planned. Snow fights and falling through ice scattered along the hike up to this scenic view. The whole lake was frozen over (tell us why we thought there would be live water there….in January…..🙄🙄) and several people were walking across the center of it all. We opted for the long route around the lake and hit this spot, it was too perfect to let go of. Next thing we know Michael has slipped a ring on my finger and asked me to marry him. Easiest, most out of breath yes, EVER.
