Common Questions

The Wedding Website of Salena Coughlan and Tyler Coughlan
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is black tie. Moreover, we ask that all guests wear the color black. Please indulge us on this; no patterns, colors, etc. For men that would mean traditional suits or tuxedos, and for women the expectation is a fully black, formal, floor-length dress.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation does not say 'and guest', then the only people that can be accommodated are the ones listed on your invitation. There will be security at the event and if someone is not on the RSVP list they will not be allowed inside as we would not be able to accommodate them.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your littles but we are unable to accommodate them at our wedding as this will be an adults-only affair, with the exception of immediate family members. We hope you use our wedding as an adults-only date night!

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Daily high temperatures range from 73°F to 63°F, rarely falling below 49°F or exceeding 83°F. Daily low temperatures range from 54°F to 45°F, rarely falling below 33°F or exceeding 67°F.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held indoors, however, cocktail hour will be held in the courtyard outside. There will be fire pits in the courtyard and an area that is enclosed with places to sit in the event it is cold outside.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that all guests RSVP no later than September 30th, 2023. If we do not have your RSVP by then we sadly will not be able to accommodate your attendance at our wedding.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4pm. We ask that you plan to arrive 20 minutes early to ensure timely beginnings.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Our reception will offer a dinner, dessert, a late night snack, an open-bar and a latte cart.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the ceremony and/or reception on social media?

Answer

Yes! We encourage you to please send all of your beautiful images of the reception and cocktail hour to our cell phones so we can peruse them after. HOWEVER, we have hired professional photographers and videographers to capture our special day and would love for you to enjoy our ceremony completely unplugged. Please please please do not be the person who ruins professional photos of our ceremony with your cellphone.

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

Prior to the day before the wedding feel free to contact the bride or groom. However, on the wedding day, contact our wedding planner.
