What is the dress code?

Our dress code for this event is going to be semi-formal. There is a cheat sheet at the top of this page. Reminder: Please avoid wearing white :) **Additionally, the bridesmaids will be wearing sage green, please plan on avoiding this color as well**

What is the parking situation for the event?

Answer

Guests have a multitude of options regarding parking for the event. The ceremony is at a separate location about 45 minutes to an hour away from the reception venue and hotels we have blocked in Greenville. There is a parking garage available to guests at the Upper Room, our reception venue, and there will be a shuttle service offered to guests taking them to and from the ceremony to the reception venue. IF YOU CHOOSE TO FOREGO THE SHUTTLE: Please allow yourself enough time to get to the ceremony venue no later than 4:45pm. Parking is limited at the ceremony venue, and it is a drive through the mountains. Please take caution to get there safely :)

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation clearly states "Your Name and Guest" or clearly states both guest's names, then yes, you do have a plus one. We are working with a cut off of the amount of people allowed at this event, and we have put a lot of thought into that decision. Thank you for your understanding.

Are children allowed at this event?

Answer

If your invitation includes the names of your children or if it is addressed to your family, we have accounted for your children having a seat at the event. Our venue is placed on a cliff, so please take caution when bringing young children to this event. Additionally, there will be alcohol at this event. So if Mom and Dad want a night off, that is up to them!

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 5:00. There will be shuttles leaving the reception venue in 15 minute increments starting at 3:45p.m. until 4:00 ensure guest arrival on time for the ceremony. If guests choose to drive themselves to and from the ceremony. Please arrive no later than 4:45. Pretty Place is an hour away from downtown Greenville during rush hour.

Our registry is located on a separate section of this website. Clicking directly on some items will bring you to the appropriate site such as amazon, or alternatively, you may be able to add some items directly to a "cart" through Zola.
