We met on an online dating website in the summer of 2015. Alex asked about harmonicas and kazoos, and the question was so weird that Liz knew that he was worth a shot. After a first date of Starbucks and a clown comedy show (let's just call it a "period piece"), things just clicked, and we knew we had something special. And it absolutely was. We have supported each other through thick and thin, had amazing adventures, and created a life together. Cooking and gaming have become two of our favourite hobbies, and we do those together nearly every day. Moving to Corner Brook has been our biggest venture to date, and we really enjoy our new surroundings and a new space to make our own. So now, after eight years, one (feline) child, five collective moves in two provinces, one pandemic (lasting three years), four collective job changes, and an unlimited amount of love, laughter, and lasting memories, we are ready to tie the knot and make this thing official.
