Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

There will be transportation provided from Hampton Inn Jonesville / Elkin to the wedding venue. The shuttles will leave at 3:15pm. Seating is limited and will be first come first serve. If you would like to drive in, it is a 5 minute drive and there is parking on site / street parking around the venue. There may also be Uber/Lyft available if you need it.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is gift enough, but should you wish to give a gift as well, any monetary contributions towards our future plans would be greatly appreciated. Please see the registry tab for more information. We will also have a card box at the wedding should you wish to bring your gift in person.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held indoors at Coley Hall. After the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour to give staff time to flip the room for the reception.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

If you are not planning to use the provided transportation, please arrive no later than 3:45pm EST. The ceremony starts at 4pm EST and doors will close once the ceremony begins. Doors will not re-open until the conclusion of the ceremony.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are requesting a semi-formal dress code for our event - no jeans, shorts, or t-shirts. Please avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

No, the room block is now closed! Please see the travel + lodging tab of the website for hotel booking information.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will be having an open bar. If you plan to partake, please drink responsibly.

Can I take pictures and post them on social media?

Answer

The ceremony will be unplugged! We have hired a photographer to capture those special moments so we ask that you honor our unplugged ceremony. We will make sure to share lots of pictures and videos with you after the wedding! After the ceremony, feel free to click away. Any pictures you take after the ceremony, please feel free to post using the hashtag #SpencerEverAfter or text them directly to us!
