It all started on Hinge - yes, the dating app. The question was "At a party, where would you most likely be found?" Morgan's answer - by the food, Shawn’s answer - in the middle of a circle dancing. Our answers could not have been more opposite, but it is exactly what attracted us to each other. After our first date, we knew there was something special and started spending more and more time together. Now, here we are 4 years later, and we cannot imagine life without each other. We have brought out the best in each other and made each other grow in ways we wouldn't have individually. It has been a beautiful journey and we are so excited and thankful to enter this next chapter together!

I (Morgan) was told that we were going ice skating that afternoon, an activity I don’t like, but little did I know that was all part of Shawn’s "master plan". We went to grab lunch and drinks that morning at Optimist Hall in Charlotte and set out to go ice skating - or so I thought. We drove to Rosie's Coffee & Wine Garden for a pitstop to get flowers and instead, I got the ring! Shawn found a secluded area to pop the question and the photographer stayed hidden until that moment. In my disbelief, I just kept saying "shut up!" all while the camera was just clicking away. After I eventually said yes we had a mini photoshoot to celebrate the moment. It was perfect!
