Hey everyone!

How We Got To This Day

First comes love, then comes marriage!

We met while Jesse was stationed in Bremerton, WA in the Navy. He went on an underway shortly after meeting. When he finally came home, I had worked out a plan with his buddy to surprise him when he stepped off the boat. From that day on you could not seperate us. Literally. Until, the Navy stepped in and more underways eventually led to what felt like a never ending deployment. We were separated for five months. Being young and in love, this felt like the hardest thing either of us had to go through. It was the first time for both of us. In many ways we can thank his time in the Navy for helping to develop the strength behind our relationship. It was the fact that we knew that we had limited time together in the early stages of our relationship that resulted in us being as close as we are. It is also what helped to make each and every day spent with each other more special than the last. Most of the time, it didn't even feel like we were dating. We were eachother's best friends. From screaming songs to the top of our lungs in the car, going to Dutch Bros 4 times a day, and car meets on the weekends, we had many little adventures. Jesse slowly moved into my life more and more within our first year of dating. It started with my mom and I adding his favorite snacks to the pantry, to my bestfriend Payton and I going to Target to get him his own dresser for my room. (Poor thing lived in a shoe box on the boat at the time). Remember how I said we couldn't be separated and how we spent every day together? Well, at the time we met, I lived in Puyallup which is an hour away from base. Jesse bought a car and drove an hour to me everyday and an hour back to the boat at 5 a.m every morning. If that isn't love ladies and gentlemen, than I don’t know what is. Fast forward, we made the move down to Georgia and SUPRISE we were expecting. Everleigh brought us closer together than ever before. Watching him be a dad made me fall in love all over again. Jesse and I met when we were 19 and 20. I feel like the two of us have grown up so much together in the last 4 years. You may say as young adults there is no way that we would have known we would have lasted through two underways, a deployment, a cross country move, and having a daughter. We would argue that we knew from the moment we met that this was going to be something that would last forever. We always felt so comfortable with eachother. Our love was always familair. So much so, that we knew right away that we were in the right place and that we were right for each other. Eventually, all the love, growing up together, and raising Everleigh led to Jesse being on one knee in front of Snow White's wishing well in Disneyland. He asked me if I would spend forever with him, and that is all that I had ever wanted to do since falling for him that day he stepped off the boat for the first time. That’s pretty much how we got here! The rest of our story has yet to be written and we can't wait to get this next chapter in marriage started!
