Katie: Just a typical date day in Estes Park! Right? NO! Ryan played this day and every day leading up to it so smoothly. My parents and his parents knew, but I had no idea! (which is hard because I'm nosey and hate surprises) We started the day off with our typical mini-golf date! I GOT A HOLE-IN-ONE!! (my first ever against Ryan!!) I was only one stroke behind Ryan, the closest score we've ever had! We then of course got a pretzel at the mini-golf place and headed up the mountain. Well... You have to have a reservation to go into the national park and Ryan DID NOT have a reservation... I was fine with it, I wanted to shop, but of course, Ryan knew that couldn't happen so we decided to ride the tram up the mountain. (it's like $16 a person and it's super pretty! you should do it) Up there the views are amazing and definitely a background-worthy photo op. Ryan brought his tripod to "take pictures" because I love taking pictures, and that's what we did. About 4 minutes into me forcing him into pictures, Ryan got down on one knee and said the most precious words ever. I've never been so shocked and lucky to be with someone like Ryan and every day with him is a new adventure! ❤️
