It's not something to worry about. But, we recommend coming in to Colorado a day early, if you can. This will give you time to adjust to the altitude. Make sure to drink plenty of water! You may feel lightheaded or sleepy at first. Most importantly, please remember that 1 alcoholic drink will feel like 2 (especially if you're coming from lower altitudes-- looking at you California and Alabama folks)! Please go slow on the drinks! The venue is at almost 9,000 feet.
If we're lucky, the weather should be beautiful. It won't be much hotter than 80 degrees, especially on the top of the mountain where the venue is. The best advice for Colorado weather is to pack layers!
We recommend you arrange for your own car rental, unless you can carpool with friends or family. The Denver airport is pretty out of the way east and the venue is out west so you will need to drive a bit. Ubers are an option but not as reliable once you get in to the rural, mountain areas. For those who live in the Denver area, we recommend you drive to the venue and designate a driver to drive home in order to preserve shuttle space for those flying from out of town. Important! You can not leave cars at the venue overnight.
Please direct your questions to Mother of the Bride, Michelle Dymerski at (909) 904-8910.
The bridesmaids will be wearing french blue and the groomsmen will be wearing charcoal.
