Acadia National Park
We came here and hiked Cadillac Mountian! It's about a 3-mile hike up (from the route we took) - but the hard part was that we decided to do it with 20mph winds in 19-degree weather, but we survived. Don't worry if hiking isn't your thing, there's also a road you can drive up and park. The park also has several other places that are with stopping by! We suggest taking the Summit Road entrance
Hiking
There's all kinds of trails on Mount Desert Island. We recommend downloading a hiking app to find a trail that's perfect for you. We like AllTrails! The views are unmatched!
Main Street
The heart of Bar Harbor is Main St., this is the place to go for food, shopping, and beautiful views of the harbor.
Side Street Cafe
FABULOUS margaritas! We also highly recommend the lobster mac.
Dog & Pony Tavern
A great spot if you're looking for a yummy lobster roll and some cheese curds!
Geddy's
This place has been a Monahan family visit for quite a few generations! Our favorite is the nachos that come served on a hub cap. They also serve whole lobsters!
Royal Indian
You likely don't think of Indian food when you think of Maine, but we promise this place is delicious!
