Things To Do

Fredericksburg is unforgettable, from charming architecture, antiquing, and historical sites to chef-owned restaurants and craft breweries. We can't wait to share it with you! To see a map of our favorite spots, visit this link! https://tinyurl.com/bdfb3kwp

Coffee, Cafes, and Breakfast

There are ample places for a great breakfast in Fredericksburg! Check out the Mason-Dixon Cafe or Fork~N~Biscuit for a huge southern breakfast, Hyperion Espresso for a great cup of coffee, or Curitiba Art Cafe for a great sandwich.

Places to Eat

We have loved every meal in Fredericksburg. Try FOODE for a farm-to-table meal in a historic bank, Orofino for great Italian food, the Alpine Chef for German cuisine (and Rachel-approved mashed potatoes) in an old train station, or Benny Vitali's for a slice of pizza (even bigger than a NY slice)!

Ice Cream

Carl's Frozen Custard - Rachel's favorite! Abner B's Ice Cream - Molly's favorite!

Grab a Drink

Red Dragon Brewery for beer A. Smith Bowman for bourbon & a tour! Rebellion Bourbon Bar for bourbon & food Wild Hare for Cider Haley's Honey Meadery for Mead Colonial Tavern or J. Brian's for an Irish Pub

Antiques and Shops

There are dozens of quaint antique shops up and down Caroline Street! Also, check out Riverby Books, an astonishingly cute bookstore.

Hikes and History

Fredericksburg has a lot of history - you can check out George Washington's boyhood home, the Mary Washington House, Chatham Manor, or the Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania National Military Park. There are also ample places to get outside and go for a hike!
