Here in Breckenridge, we are at 10,000 feet and you feel it the moment that you arrive. Atitude affects everyone differently, but it is common to experience some difficulty breathing, headaches, and in extreme circumstances, altitude sickness. The best way to manage the altitude is to start drinking a large amount of water BEFORE you get here and continue to drink more than you think you need after you arrive. If you feel like you need extra oxygen support, you can visit the oxygen bar in town- details are on the "things to do" page of our website! The altitude will also impact how your body handles alcohol- YOUR DRINKING TOLERANCE WILL NOT BE THE SAME AS IT IS AT HOME AND THE HANGOVER WILL BE MUCH WORSE. You've been warned.
For pre-wedding events, please refer to the RSVP page and your invitation for dress code. For the wedding itself, we ask that you come in Colorado Cocktail attire. The dancing will be held out in the tent, so please bring a light jacket for the evening hours. While you are here, you will enjoy having good walking shoes, sunglasses, a hat, and plenty of layers. You will also need sunscreen as the rays up here are extra intense with the elevation. We can go from cool mornings, to hot afternoons (with maybe some rain mixed in) to chilly nights pretty rapidly up here. Most of the hotels and AirBnBs have pool or hot tub access so pack your swimsuit as well!
Please see the "transportation" page. We have a discount code for the Epic Mountain Express shuttle, but you can also get a rental car or Uber if needed. We recommend the shuttle because once you get to Breck it is easy to walk the town and utilize the hotel shuttles!
Complimentary shuttles will be transporting guests to the venue starting at 3:45 pm from GRAVITY HAUS, MOUNTAIN THUNDER LODGE, AND F LOT IN TOWN. All guests may utilize this shuttle even if they aren't staying at one of the hotels (even you Breck friends!). Please be on the shuttle NO LATER than 4:15 pm.
