The Wedding Website of Allie Bianchi and Mitch Colburn

Abby Conger

Matron of Honor

"I have known Allie since birth as I am her older sister. Although there is a six-year age difference between us, this didn't stop us from sharing a bedroom for many years, being constantly mistaken as twins, and attending Creighton University simultaneously (Allie in nursing and me in dental school). There is nowhere else I would rather be than by her side on this big day!"

Geoff Herzog

Best Man

“I first met Mitch during rush week 20 years ago at the University of Idaho. Despite Mitch being much older than me, by one year, we were in the same pledge class. Our love for sports, our ability to have fun, our respect for each others studies, and our hatred of mustard made our friendship instantly click. I’m proud to say our friendship has continued to grow much better than our hairlines.”

Jeneca LaVitola

Bridesmaid

“We met during our first day of travel nurse orientation in Seattle by having matching Vera Bradley bags. She was my first travel nurse friend and instantly turned into a lifetime best friend! She also introduced me to skiing, hiking, and camping, which have become all of my favorite adult hobbies. Now I get to enjoy doing these activities and taking trips with Allie, Mitch, and my husband, Jay!”

Mark Davidson

Groomsman

“Mitch and I met in college at the University of Idaho where Mitch was often seen brushing his teeth when I was just getting the night started.  We connected on a heavy dose of athletics, social gatherings, CJ’s 7 to 11, spicy chicken pitas, and making a game out of everything we encountered along the way! Our friendship has grown greatly post-college with our shared love for exploration and adventure through travel, boating, business, and sports.”

Hannah Bond

Bridesmaid

“Allie and I first met in nursing school at Creighton University where our paths frequently crossed in the library and at Jays basketball games. Our true bond began over tough patient loads and sleep deprived giggles in the hallowed halls of CHI Immanuel Medical Center where we began our nursing careers together. We then took our friendship coastal and travel nursed to Long Beach, CA and Seattle, WA. We’ve been best friends ever since, and she’s truly the sister I never had!”

Tom Callery

Groomsman

“Mitch and I met in Sister Corita’s kindergarten class at St. Stanislaus School in 1988. I remember thinking Mitch had great hair and was very good at puzzles. We’ve remained close friends ever since. Mitch is still good at puzzles.”

Nicole Nemmers

Bridesmaid

"Allie and I became friends through Gamma Phi Beta and were inseparable during nursing school. We've been through it all; from late nights studying to endless nights having fun and eventually becoming roommates. We have had countless laughs and incredible memories. To this day, Allie continues to be one of the most genuine, caring, and fun friends to everyone she meets. She will always be one of my best friends and I'm so grateful life threw her my way!"

Andrew Bianchi

Groomsman

"Allie has been my ride-or-die/side-kick "older" sister since I was 13 months old. Mitch is FINALLY a normal boyfriend and now fiancé for Allie- he is the only one of Allie's boyfriends I haven't had to threaten."

Laura Bianchi

Bridesmaid

“I’ve known Allie nearly 15 years when I started dating (and eventually marrying) her older brother. But it wasn’t until she moved to Colorado when we became really close. We spent a lot of time doing all the “basic” Colorado things like skiing and hiking. But I wouldn’t have made it through the early years of motherhood without Allie. Without hesitation she’s always been there for our girls and our family. She is one of the most caring, thoughtful and attentive people I know, and feel lucky to have her in my life. I’m so incredibly happy that she has found someone just as thoughtful and who looks after her. ❤️”

Adam Bianchi

Groomsman

“As Allison’s oldest brother, it is hard to believe that my baby sister is getting married. Although we are four years apart, we were extremely close as kids. Yet, somehow we have grown even closer as adults. Through ups and downs of life, we have come to understand what it means to have each other. Sometimes we talk often…sometimes not enough. But it doesn’t seem to matter, because the closeness remains and I always know Allison will be there. Like the 5 years spent together in Colorado. During this time, I was lucky to witness Allison and Mitch’s relationship develop and grow -from their long distance relationship to their life together in Boise. For the first time, someone is looking out for her as much as she looks out for everyone else. I’m incredibly happy to have Mitch as a Brother-in-law and welcome him into our family.”

Morgan Colburn

Bridesmaid

“Mitch, or me-nah, is the best older brother a girl could ask for. He may have got the smarts but I got the hair.”

Gabe Conger

Groomsman

“I first met Allie when she came to visit her older sister Abby in college and went to a Creighton Bluejays basketball game. At the game in an awesome move, I gifted Allie with a signed Kyle Korver bobblehead. She’s been a fan ever since of her (now) brother-in-law!”

Addison & Madelyn Bianchi

Flower Girl

Addison is the bride's niece and also her Goddaughter. She may come off shy but don't let this fool you- this small but mighty girl will climb and jump off of anything for a thrill. She loves trying to keep up with her older sister, collecting cool rocks, and wearing tutus. Madelyn is the bride's niece and twin to Addison. She always has her eye on her sister and no doubt plans for future ways to cause mischief. She loves collecting chapstick, playing with baby dolls, and doing weird telepathic twin things with her sister.

Reagan Conger & Olivia Bianchi

Flower Girl

Reagan is the bride's niece and also her Goddaughter. She LOVES teasing Mitch, knows more about dinosaurs than most people, her favorite color is purple, and would like to be referred to as princess of Waunakee, WI. Olivia is the bride's niece and spent a lot of time with her Aunt Allie when they lived in Colorado together. She is extremely silly, her motto is "the faster the better," her favorite colors are pink/orange, and thinks mermaids are the best.

Jack Conger

Ring Bearer

Jack is the bride's nephew and has learned to tolerate being the only boy cousin. He often gets confused if his Aunt Allie is his mom, but he enjoys cuddling with his Aunt Allie, playing "shy" with Mitch, playing with fire trucks, and dancing his heart out to "Your Welcome" from the movie Moana.

Maggie, Katie, & Ashley

Bride's Personal Nurses

Maggie Davidson: “Allie and I met in 2017 while working at Children’s Hospital of Colorado. We became fast friends, bonding over our love of the outdoors, adventure seeking…and being single. Fast forward 3 years and I had the privilege of introducing Allie and Mitch. Who would have thought us two weirdos would marry best friends!” Ashley Griffin: “Allie is one of my weirdest but most loveable friends. We met while both being pediatric nurses at Childrens Hospital Colorado, but I knew we would be lifelong friends when (after one or so beers) she was making up dances by herself on one of our ski trips. Since then our ski trips are some of my favorite memories and I can always count on Allie to make me laugh.” Katie Messer: “I met Allie at Children’s Colorado Hospital after we both newly moved to Denver. We bonded quickly over our cutie bald kiddos, work stress that led to crying on night shifts, and our love of good beer in the sunshine. I knew early on she was a best friend for life because she is probably the one person weirder and goofier than me on this earth. Every fun and important Colorado memory has Allie in it and we’re always laughing. Mitch got added into those memories and it has made everything even more fun (and silly) and I’m so pumped to celebrates these two perfect weirdos tying the knot!!!!”
