The #StewartKrewe story began in St. Louis, while Ben was visiting home and Miriam was hosting a night out with friends. We were introduced by a mutual friend and didn't think much of it (or so she thought). Though we lived in separate states, we remained friends through Facebook and connected over our shared interests in live music and travel. Miriam- After trying to convince myself that I wasn’t interested and this could never work, I realized that Benjamin had become special to me… he introduced me to new experiences, challenged my thinking but embraced my ideas, and gave me space to be free and quirky without judgement. He was positive, genuine, consistent and most importantly, intentional. Despite my commitment to remaining blissfully single and unbothered, I was smitten and felt a happiness with him that I'd never imagined! Ben- I always knew what I wanted! Every time I was in her presence, it was with the sole purpose of showing her I was interested. She took my breath away and all I wanted to do was get it back. I knew that the first time we met she didn’t think much of it. It wasn’t until the band she and her friend had come to see, invited me on stage to play that her interest started to show. I knew that this was my chance to etch into her mind, our first encounter. From that point on every chance I could get, I would do my best to Whoo her and finally on January 1, 2015 my years of courting paid off with her accepting my pursuits to be her one and only!

We ALL know that this was many years in the making. For some of you... TOO long. But the timing was just right for us. Let's all say it together one last time. "Its about time!"
