We do not recommend staying close to the venue. Instead we recommend staying in one of the hotels below and using "Uber Comfort" or "Uber Black" for transportation. Miraflores - safe and lots of tourists, bars and restaurants: El Pardo Doubletree by Hilton ($$$), Holiday Inn Miraflores ($$), Casa Andina Premium Miraflores ($$), Courtyard ($$$), Casa Andina Select ($$), Hilton Garden Inn ($$$), Crowne Plaza ($$$), Hilton Lima Miraflores ($$$$), Belmond Hotel ($$$$$), JW Marriott ($$$$). San Isidro - closer to venue, and while it is safe, it is more of a residential area. So there are very nice bars and restaurants, but fewer tourists: Ramada Encore ($$), Westin Lima Hotel ($$$$), Casa Andina Premium San Isidro ($$$), Hyatt Centric ($$$$), Holiday Inn Express Lima San Isidro ($$), DoubleTree by Hilton ($$$$), Hampton by Hilton ($$), Country Club Lima ($$$$). Nice Restaurants to try out while in Lima: Central (Barranco), Astrid & Gaston, La Cuadra de Salvador (San Isidro or Barranco locations), Huaca Pucllana, Punto Azul (Alcanfores location), Panchita (Miraflores), Jose Antonio (San Isidro), Isolina (Barranco)
