WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Anna and Andrew met back on July 9, 2016 at Lacey (Anna’s bff) and Jake’s (Andrew’s college roommate) wedding in Iowa. They had a blast, took some pics and parted ways. Two years later Andrew again popped into Anna’s mind. That time, she immediately texted Lacey to ask what Drew was up to these days…and the rest is history. Andrew finished up medical school then they both moved to Gainesville, FL to start a new chapter. 3 years filled with lots of learning, working, and a sweet pup (Roe) landed them at their next chapter, Charlotte, NC. New to the Queen City, they have been able to meet special people, settle into their new home and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Speaking of outdoors…let’s get to the engagement story. A hike with a view is Anna’s love language and Andrew delivered. After a few reschedules and a fun filled weekend with friends they were finally able to take a trip to the mountains for a good Sunday hike. As always-Andrew had a plan. A busier day on the trail than expected, Andrew grabbed the backpack, Anna grabbed Roe and up they hiked. The top was gorgeous! Lucky enough to find a good spot for a photoshoot, Anna started snapping pictures of Roe then turned around to find Andrew down on one knee! A few tears and smooches later they were popping a bottle of champagne and sharing the news from the top of a mountain about their next chapter…their wedding!
