It's Fall, 2008 and Ali's friend Megan Kent invites her to a rugby party at U. of Mary Washington, where she meets Mike for the first time. The following Monday outside of Chandler Building, Mike saw Ali coming out of class and said, "Hey you seem like a lot of fun, can I have your number?" Over the next few years, they became good friends and built a very solid foundation of trust, friendship and went on lots of fun adventures together. Finally in August 2013, they decided to take a chance and become official! Ten years after asking for her number, Mike asked Ali to marry her on April 4th, 2018. They were skiing with college friends in the most magical winter wonderland in Whistler, Canada. On their last run of the trip, Mike took a fall in what was one of the most beautiful spots on the mountain. After he got up, Ali asked Lauren to take one last photo of them together. Mike seized the moment, got down on one knee, and asked Ali to marry him! Through a lot of happy tears, she wholeheartedly said YES ♥♥
