We're Getting Married!

In July of 2020, Mike and Shayla were both asked to attend a Zoom bible study on Thursday nights by their mutual friends, Jeff and Marissa Page. Both Mike and Shayla were hesitant to join, but agreed to, as they both felt the holy spirit asking them to be part of the group. Shayla was living on Maui at the time and Mike was in San Diego. Thursday nights quickly became their favorite day of the week, because it was an opportunity to "see" one another and witness each others faiths. When small group ended in October, they continued to stay connected by talking over FaceTime once a week. Shayla went to Oahu, once the travel ban was lifted, and they went on their first official first date on January 16, 2021. They had a day filled with adventure and have never looked back!
