Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Mike Koval and Risha Kohli
You are just steps away from all the wonderful things Philadelphia has to offer! Here are a few recommendations on where to explore and to eat in the city.
Independence Mall (Liberty Bell & Independence Hall)

Independence Mall (Liberty Bell & Independence Hall)

520 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106

Tour the 'birthplace' of the United States! Also known as "America’s Most Historic Square Mile," you'll find some of the country's most famous historical sights, including the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. You can also visit the National Constitution Center and Independence Visitor Center nearby.

Museums on Benjamin Franklin Parkway

Museums on Benjamin Franklin Parkway

Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA

The Benjamin Franklin Parkway, modeled after the Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris, is called Philadelphia’s most artistic mile for good reason. Some of the city’s most important cultural institutions and museums are there, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Barnes Foundation, Rodin Museum, Franklin Institute, Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University.

Climb the Famous Rocky Steps

Climb the Famous Rocky Steps

2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19130

Located at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Rocky Statue and the “Rocky Steps” are undeniably two of the most popular attractions in Philadelphia. Visitors arrive daily at the bottom of the museum stairs to snap a picture with the Rocky statue, originally created for a scene in Rocky III. Then they hustle up the museum’s grand stairway to try their hand at the famous two-arms-raised salute — all while soaking up picture-perfect views of the Philadelphia skyline.

Rittenhouse Square

Rittenhouse Square

Philadelphia, PA

One of five original squares planned by city founder William Penn in the late 17th century, Rittenhouse Square is a Philadelphia staple. The tree-filled park is surrounded by some of the city's best and most popular restaurants and retail shopping in the area. This is also where we got engaged!

Reading Terminal Market

Reading Terminal Market

1136 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107

Reading Terminal Market, one of the nation’s oldest and largest public markets, first opened in 1893. Visitors can enjoy eating a wide variety — all available from largely locally owned, family-run stands.

Visit the Love Sculpture

Visit the Love Sculpture

Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102

One of best-known landmarks is LOVE itself — the Robert Indiana sculpture in John F. Kennedy Plaza (or LOVE Park). It's a great photo op for couples, families, and friends.
