Henry is such a caring person, the bride and groom are so happy to have him closer to home. The grooms favorite memory of the two of them would have to be the infamous "river boys" incident.

Shruthi has been a friend of the bride for 10 years. Shruthi and Mikayla met in high school and immediately became friends. In 2021, Spencer and Mikayla took the first trip to Chicago and stayed with Shruthi! It is one of their favorites memories with her!

Iniyan has been a friend of the bride for 13 years. Iniyan and Mikayla met in middle school and became friends on the high school bus and had many high school classes together! The two have been best friends ever since! Spencer and Iniyan have been friends for 6 years and met through Mikayla. The three love trying out breakfast spots together anytime they can! Their favorite breakfast place to go is the Original Pancake House!

Alexa has been a friend of the bride for 10 years. Alexa and Mikayla met in high school and the two also played softball together in high school and were roommates. Alexa always finds a way to make the couple laugh. Mikayla and Alexa have shared lots of memories with one another!

Brendan has been a friend of the bride for 15 years. Brendan and Mikayla met at the Boys and Girls Club of Troy ! The two have been best friends ever since! Spencer and Brendan have been friends for 7 years and met through Mikayla. The three love trying getting together whenever they can!

Lauren has been a friend of the bride for 9 years. Lauren and Mikayla met in high school and the two lived across the street from each other for 3 years. One of Mikayla’s favorite memories with Lauren was during high school. The two went to Lauren’s house and sat by the pool and were blasting “The Beach Boys” albums through Lauren’s bedroom window! Lauren and Mikayla love FaceTiming each other for hours on end when the two have the chance.

Colin has been a friend of the groom for 12 years. Colin and Spencer met in middle school. The two have ran a 10K together, have had many travel adventures, and love a good beer and long conversations. Colin was also neighbors with Mikayla and Spencer for a year and the three spent lots of time together! In the beginning of Spencer and Colin’s friendship, during high school, they went down to the park by their houses and sat with the feet in the river to talk about girls.

Mikayla and Kristen attended high school together and ended up working with one another at American Eagle during Mikayla’s freshman year of college! Even though Kristen lives out of the state, Mikayla looks forward to seeing her anytime she comes in to visit!

Brianna is the cousin of the bride. Many of their family members get the two mixed up because Brianna is Mikayla's " mini me". The two have a love for art and video games.

Preston is the brother of the groom. The two of them may be very different, however they have a lot of love for one another. Spencer has always looked up to his big brother and now Spencer doesn't break his legos anymore, so they get along much better than before.

Michelle Lo Piccolo is a friend of the bride and groom and their wedding coordinator. She is the owner of a small travel company called The Mosaic Way and coordinates everything from destination weddings to family vacations. Michelle is excited that she gets to be a part of Spencer & Mikayla’s special day and help their vision come to life. Michelle is always life of the party and her smile always makes those around her happy. The bride and groom always look forward to spending time with Michelle.
Grant Cleaveland

Grant has been friends with the groom for over 20 years since meeting in kindergarten, where they enjoyed long philosophical conversations and other scholarly pursuits. One time in 6th grade, Spencer and Grant sang “Carry On My Wayward Son” by Kansas in front of the whole class. It was a glorious day for all who witnessed. With his career focusing on acting and comedy, the couple thought Grant would make the perfect officiant for their wedding. The bride and groom are so happy that one of their best friends gets to marry the two of them.
Lee Cleaveland

Lee is a touring musician and frontman of garage rock band Lee Cleaveland & The Lefthand Band. Spencer and Lee became friends through Lee’s younger brothers Henry & Grant and the four have been friends for over 20 years. The friendship began in elementary school with running around backyards and in high school it evolved into sneaking out, skating, and general tomfoolery (often at the expense of the sanity of their poor mothers).

Spencer drove his mom half crazy over the years and given her many scares, but her love for him has never wavered. She is always so supportive and loving unconditionally. Her selflessness, patience, encouragement only touch the surface when describing her.

Mikayla loved her mom very much. The bride (and groom) are heartbroken that she will not be there physically to celebrate, but know that her soul will be. She had so much love for the bride and groom and was always making sure they were okay. Kristy went on many wedding planning adventures with the couple and was so excited to celebrate them (and having an extra excuse to dance).

The groom and his father share a love for hockey. The groom loves spending time with his father and enjoys eating his dads home cooked meals, their hunting memories and stealing his fathers old clothes from the 80s and 90s. Spencer has always looked up to his father, and they even share many of the same mannerisms.

Al is the uncle of the bride and is the brother of Kristy. Mikayla loves talking over his sports and reality tv shows anytime he is trying to watch something and enjoys spending anytime she can with him. Al has always been supportive of the bride (and groom) and has been such an role model to her. His endless humor, optimism and joy for life has heavily influenced Mikayla to follow her heart and goals.

Mikayla loves getting to spend time with her stepdad. Joe has been a father figure to the bride since she was 5 years old. Joe has helped shape the bride into who she is today. Mikayla has gotten a lot of her taste in music from driving in the car with Joe. The groom and Joe share a love for thrifting, they even run into each other at the local Salvation Army while hunting for treasures.

Lori is the brides aunt. She is stepping in as “mother of the bride” for her sister, Kristy. Lori has always loved Mikayla like her own daughter and she is the mother of Madison and Payton. Lori took the bride to her first concert. They saw Taylor Swift and Kenny Chesney and were stuck in the parking garage at Ford Field together for hours on end.

Jason will be escorting Lori Schmidt. Jason is the brides cousin and has always been a role model to her. When Mikayla was born, Jason was the first one to feed her. He has always loved her and has watched over her.

Keith is the Uncle of Mikayla and brother to Kristy. Keith will be escorting the grand parents of the bride. Keith always finds a way to make Mikayla smile and used to love playing pranks on her as a kid or flying her around in the air in a laundry basket. He is the father of Brianna Neumann.
Robin Denby
Grandmother of the Bride
Robin is the step grandmother of the bride and mother to stepfather Joe. Robin has always loved Mikayla as her own grand daughter and has inspired a love of travel. The bride has very fond memories of going and visiting grandma in her beautiful homes, in whatever state she was living in at the time. The brides favorite memory with Grandma Robin is going to the American Girl store in Atlanta, Georgia.

Judy is the mother to Kristy, Keith, Lori, and Alfonse. Mikayla spent many years living with her grandmother and loves all of their memories together. Mikayla loved their annual back to school shopping trips and setting up the Christmas village together.

Grandfather of the Bride
Alfonse is the husband to Judith, father to Keith, Lori, Alfonse and Kristy. His endless love for music, jazz, and piano planning has inspired a large amount of the brides music taste and influenced her joy for “oldies” tunes. A day with papa wouldn’t be complete without a hotdog trip to Home Depot or an early morning sweet treat at Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbin’s.

Mother to Dawn, Geneva has been blessed with a handful of wonderful grandchildren. Her love for the bride and groom always shines through, and her support for the couple has always inspired them to move through their relationship with confidence. Spencer's favorite memory with his grandmother is visiting her in Texas and picking fresh grapefruits for breakfast every morning.

Father to Dawn and late husband to Geneva, Bert was an incredible man. The groom has inherited many of Berts handsome looks. He is loved and missed by many.

Father to Paul and late husband to Mary, Frank has made many wonderful memories with the groom. The groom adored his grandfathers wood working projects. Spencer and Frank shared a love for old western films.
