For those who haven't been to Kauai before, here is some information about the island in relation to the wedding: Lihue This is the airport guests will want to fly into, located about 20 minutes from Wailuā/Kapaa. It's also where the Sunday beach day will take place. Wailuā / Kapaa The Friday Welcome Party and Saturday Wedding will be hosted in this area. It’s the best spot for guests to stay if they want to be close to the wedding events and minimize driving. North Shore Located about 45 minutes from the wedding venue, this is the bride and groom's favorite part of the island. With insane views and our favorite beach (hanalei bay) it's definitely something you don't wanna miss. Poipu Also about 45 minutes from the wedding venue, Poipu is another fantastic area to visit or stay. It’s filled with great resorts, restaurants, and beaches.
