Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are taking place at Springton Manor Farm located at 860 Springton Rd, Gelnmoore, PA 19343 on 9/20/2025 (https://springtonmanorfarm.com). The schedule will be updated ASAP. This venue is a 30-minute drive from the hotel.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. Ladies. Think end of summer garden party. Faded and warm pastel hues and patterns brought on by a long hot summer. Please pick a dress that’s tea length or longer and avoid darker hues like black, navy and grey if possible. And of course, white is reserved for the bride! Gents. Wear your finest suit and tie, all colors are fine but if you have lighter colors, that is preferred. Miguel and the groomsmen will be wearing a darker shade and we’d love if they stood out amongst the crowd. We have linked a Pinterest board for inspiration. https://www.pinterest.com/katerichards13/guest-attire-inspiration/?invite_code=d5de5f5ecab44ed880cf5839be926e3a&sender=327777816538011193

Question

How do you get to the venue?

Answer

We are currently arranging shuttle transportation to Springton Manor Farm from Hotel Indigo - Downtown West Chester and back. There is also plenty of parking at Springton Manor Farm. Please feel free to drive and meet us there!

Question

What is the schedule for the weekend?

Answer

We will continue to update this website so check it sporadically. The website, and schedule, will be finalized ASAP so you can plan accordingly.

Question

What's the best way to get to the hotel?

Answer

Unfortunately, driving is the easiest, fastest, and most reliable way to get to West Chester and the hotel. There are limited public transit options from Philly. If you take the train into the city you will arrive at William H. Gray 30th St Station. From there, you can take the subway "L" or a bus "21" to 69th St Transit Center. There is a bus from 69th St Transit Center to West Chester. The "104" bus schedule is linked here: https://schedules.septa.org/current/104.pdf

Question

What is there to do in West Chester?

Answer

Downtown West Chester is a vibrant small-town. There are numerous bars and restaurants, locally owned shops, and fun activities (We went to the Painted Plate for one of Katie's birthday's https://www.paintedplatepottery.com) all within a 15-minute walk. Beyond downtown West Chester, for those who love the outdoors, Longwood Gardens and Ridley Creek State Park have a lot to offer all within a 20-minute drive from the hotel.

Question

Can I explore Philadelphia?

Answer

While we would love for you to be able to explore Philly, we want to advise you of the logistics. On a good day, West Chester to Philadelphia is a 45-minute drive. If there is traffic, the drive can easily be over an hour long. Downtown West Chester really is a great small-town city with plenty to offer. We think you can make the most of your trip by simply exploring West Chester and the surrounding area!
