Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us.

Alex Beaton

Best Man

My No. 1 Brother. Alex is my sweet, younger and only sibling. My partner in crime growing up, I couldn’t be prouder of all that he has achieved in both the UK and the US. Kind and sensitive, whether in good or difficult times, he has always had my back, and I fully expect this to continue in Vegas for my bachelor party (please, pretty please).

Courtney Reneau

Matron of Honor

Courtney, a southern belle from Lousiana, and I met at 15, both transplants to The Woodlands, TX. Rather than a case of opposites attract, we are soul sisters through and through. She is my ride or die. My sister from another mister. My life would be incomplete without her in it. The only thing that has changed is that we've added a few more people to our posse (🤵+ 👶).

Drew Morton

Best Man

My Bournemouth Brother. We’ve been best friends and sporting rivals since 1983. A promising youth international player, Drew’s rugby career was cut short by injury. But Scotland’s loss was our gain as we forged a formidable off-field partnership at school and in the bars of Bournemouth. He deeply misses his full head of hair.

Jennie Lodge

Maid of Honor

From workmates at Old Navy to best bougie and travel mates, Jennie has been one of my most important teachers and the kind of friend who holds you (lovingly) accountable. To much sadness, she left our foggy Upper Haight neighborhood for the sunnier skies of LA. But even though we're apart, we'll always have Mexico to run to.

Anil Prakash

Groomsman

My San Francisco Brother. Anil is a complete contradiction – a fun actuary, a generous Scot, a kilt-wearing Indian, the list goes on… When we first met at work in London, neither of us could’ve imagined that we’d end up in California some 6 years later. He made my Dubai-to-San Francisco transition a very smooth one and he’ll don his afore-mentioned kilt for any (ANY) reason or occasion.

Diana Wohldmann

Bridesmaid

Friends since Cinco de Mayo 2006, roommates until we almost killed each other, sisters through thick and thin. We may drive each other crazy (and other people if you have the unfortunate circumstance of traveling with us) but we understand each other in ways no one else can. (Sorry Paul and Zach, we still love you.)

Sam Morris

Groomsman

My Dubai Brother. We initially bonded over ‘dentist chair’ drinks at a summer BBQ in Clapham (London) and this quickly blossomed into a lifelong friendship made in the deserts of Dubai. Much has been said about this man’s rich, deep voice and gravity-defying eyebrow raises. Sam is known by his admirers (and detractors) as Mr. Fun / Mr. Party.

Audrey Kaiser

Bridesmaid

When Audrey moved in after Alex, two things became clear. One, she is also a crazy dog mom and two, we might not have become friends had we met in the wild and it absolutely would have been a major loss. Audrey's influence on my life is palpable and I never would have met Paul if it wasn't for her infectious positive spirit (and ride to our first date.)

Rob Glover

Groomsman

My Birmingham Brother. We have a love-hate relationship! What else would you expect from rival fans of English Premier League football clubs? Rob is a university mate who is equally happy on the beaches of Barbados or Eastbourne in the UK. Wherever he is, rest assured that he will be drowning his sorrows following yet another heavy Spurs defeat or miserable season. Opposites attract with this one.

Alex List

Bridesmaid

Both former New Yorkers, we were introduced through mutual friends as possible roommates. A ten-minute Skype call later (while both hungover) it was kismet. Roommates for three years, it was a traumatic event when Alex left the nest to move in with her boyfriend. She is a ray of sunshine, the first person to offer help before you even know you need it, and an excellent activity planner. And thanks to her giving Gideon bed access, he may actually love her more than he loves me.

Ben Smaje

Groomsman

My Birmingham Brother. Ben is so posh that he changed his last name to ‘Smythe’ and got into the Birmingham University Men’s Rugby First XV through the color of his blood rather than his sporting prowess. He is the proud owner of an impossibly large head but that never impeded the speed he could reach as a winger. He is affectionately known as Dad, Mr. Dependable or The Bank of Smythe.

Aviva Falk

Bridesmaid

I met Aviva while working at a bar in NYC; me, trying to find my footing in the fashion world and Aviva, a burgeoning fashion designer. More than ten years, two moves from Brooklyn, and lots of love later, we are finally on the same coast again. Aviva is fond of saying, "If you always dress for a party, life will always be one." So it's fitting that the entire bridal party is in Viva Aviva designs.

James Cortese

Officiant

James is my older brother, my closest confidant, and my best playmate. He is the number one reason I left New York City for San Francisco back in 2014. He welcomed me to my new city with open arms and a built-in support system. A patient advisor, he is (mostly) always right and has never failed to steer me down the right path.

Gideon

Pup of Honor

Gideon was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Alabama and driven up to Brooklyn, NY. As I sat on the curb at the adoption event, a dog came up to me and rested his head on my shoulder. The volunteer holding the leash said, "I think you've just been chosen." I looked at the dog in front of me and said, "Let's take a walk." One New York block later, Gideon had found his forever home. He will be walking me down the aisle along with my father.
