Things To Do

There are so many amazing things to see and do in Norfolk, and we're so excited that people can see the area where Michelle's family grew up and where we found ourselves. While we will be leaving Hampton Roads, a piece of our hearts will always be here.
The Grain Rooftop Beer Garden

The Grain Rooftop Beer Garden

100 E Main Street, Norfolk, VA 23510

One of the more popular bars in Downtown Norfolk. Come see where We live and the Elizabeth River from the best views in town!

Circuit Social

Circuit Social

258 Granby Street, Norfolk, VA 23510

This the first bar we went to when we moved to Downtown Norfolk. Beer, Arcade Games, what more can you ask for? This is our favorite place to go in the whole world.

Buoy 44 Seafood Grill

Buoy 44 Seafood Grill

4536 Ocean View Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA 23455
, (757) 464-4400

Eat on the porch, and watch the waves gently crash on the white sands of Chic's Beach. Their seafood is so good! An awesome, beachfront, casual dining experience, with really great Happy Hour deals! We ate here all the time pre-corona, especially during the summers.

Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center

Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center

717 General Booth Boulevard, Virginia Beach, VA 23451
, (757) 385-3474

We went here for a Delta Gamma formal, and we had an amazing time. There's an amazing coral reef tank, as well as a relaxing vibe that will make you feel like you're under the sea.

Virginia Beach Boardwalk

Virginia Beach Boardwalk

Virginia Beach Boardwalk, Virginia Beach, VA

We come here all the time to relax. There's so much to do and see during the summer, and not to mention being so close to the Atlantic Ocean. We are total ocean dwellers, and this is our piece of the sea. Eat at restaurants and bars, enjoy the sea and sun, or have fun at what Virginia Beach has to offer!

Noland Trail

Noland Trail

83-99 Museum Drive, Newport News, VA 23601
, (757) 596-2222

This is truly our place, and a Christopher Newport University staple. We would constantly walk here to feed the turtles, pet other people's dog, exercise, and explore. This is by far the most sentimental place in our recommendations. If anyone wants to see our Alma Mater after walking this stunning loop trail, CNU is less than a mile away!

Chrysler Museum

Chrysler Museum

1 Memorial Place, Norfolk, VA 23510
, (757) 664-6200

Not only is this place free, but amazing! Our family went to the Glass Studio to take a class on glassblowing! We would totally suggest doing it, if you have the time and extra money. We had so much fun. Not to mention there are stunning exhibitions, with a really awesome Contemporary section.

For all the days along the way
