Pittsburgh International Airport is about 20 miles outside the city and is a quick 20 minute drive to downtown Pittsburgh. Lyft/Uber rides to and from the airport cost ~$50-70 depending on the time of day. There is also a public bus route (Port Authority line 28X) if that's more your speed.

Neighborhoods in Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh is made up of 90 different neighborhoods (!). Each one has its own unique flavor. Check out the link below to see which one you would enjoy staying in the most! The wedding venue is located in the Oakland neighborhood, which is where the University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, and the Carnegie Museums are located. Nearby neighborhoods we would also recommend staying in include Squirrel Hill, Shadyside, Bloomfield, Lawrenceville, and Strip District. You'll also find a ton of different hotel options Downtown if that's more your scene. Wherever you stay, everything is all within ~4-5 mile radius (~20 min drive) from Oakland.
