We spent 2 years together at Towson University, never officially "meeting," but always crossing paths through mutual friends and Greek life activities. It wasn't until fall semester of 2017 that we were officially introduced through mutual friends. Michelle's roommate at the time, Maddie, overheard Edwin saying how cute Michelle was and immediately began to set us up. Shortly after, we had our first date at San Sushi where we talked for over 4 hours. We spent the rest of the semester going to date parties and social events together, spending every Thursday at CVP dancing together.

We planned a weekend in NYC with our friends, Amanda, Bob and Andrew to go see our friends PJ and Carly in the city. Edwin spent the last 2 years telling Michelle he didn't want anyone to be at the engagement, making Michelle think this was just another weekend trip with friends. During a beautiful walk through Central Park, Edwin got down on one knee and proposed. Michelle was completely shocked and immediately said "YES!" Edwin didn't skimp on any of the surprises that weekend. The proposal was followed with a surprise party on Long Island at Michelle's parents house where they got to celebrate with family from near and far.
