Maid of Honor
Jennifer is my cousin! We spent all of our childhood together and she is more like a sister than a cousin. Jennifer has long blonde hair and I have short brown hair so we are polar opposites! Jennifer and I work in similar fields and share similar aspirations. There is no one I'd rather have as my maid of honor than Jennifer.
Bridesmaid
Elizabeth and I met when we both worked at Cary Home for Children. We ran the emergency shelter care unit together. Elizabeth was my right hand man! We had a hard time initiating our friendship because we are both a little bit awkward. Asking Elizabeth if she wanted to get a drink with me felt a lot like asking someone on a date. Elizabeth and I are best friends now and she is always the first person I go to when I need to decompress.
Bridesmaid
Megan and I met in 7th grade. She was the new kid in school and I asked her to sit with me at lunch. We have been best friends since. We went through all of the difficult teenage years together. We made a lot of memories and a lot of mistakes together! While Megan lives a long ways away, we still connect by video chatting and playing games together.
Bridesmaid
Earma and I started as classmates at Ivy Tech. We've grown to become amazing friends since then! Earma ended up going to Purdue and I went to IUPUI but we are still able to share experiences together. If I ever need a dose of reality, Earma is the first person I call.
Bridesmaid
Kelly and I met at Fresh City Market. We lived together for a few months and were absolutely inseparable. Kelly is the only person in my wedding party who knew Michael before we started dating. Kelly is my rock and my person. No matter how much distance is between us, We are always able to bounce back like we were never apart.
Bridesmaid
Allison and I met working together at a domestic violence shelter. Although we have not been friends for a long time, we are very close. Allison is the first person I go to with professional advice. We have the blessing of sharing our passion. Having such a empathetic and kind friend has been the highlight of my life.
Best Man
Broc and I met when we were 13. He is basically a brother to me and we have been through a lot together. We have always been close even though we have different personalities. We are both pretty competitive and grew up playing a lot of sports and games with and against each other. Without meeting Broc, I may have never met the rest of my groomsmen.
Groomsman
Jack and I met when he was a freshman at Purdue. He was some random guy that Nate offered to let sleep on my couch one day, which is totally fine, I guess. Shortly after meeting him, we quickly became great friends and hung out all the time. We both got into craft beer and eventually started brewing together because we “knew we could make a better beer” than most of the ones that we had tried. Jack is one of the smartest people that I know.
Groomsman
have known Nate since the late 90’s. Nate is a very competitive person, much like myself, and we quickly became friends competing in all sorts of games. From tournaments in Indy, to 5am Hell in the Cell matches, he has always been there. Nate is a passionate person and a good friend throughout the years.
Groomsman
I first met Jon online playing some video games with Jack and Nate. He was a giant troll, but we loved him. Then one day he invited himself to crash on my couch for the weekend, and I haven’t been able to get rid of him since. Our annual “I spent way too much money on all these beers” get together at Jack’s place is always something that I look forward to. Jon always has a knack for putting a smile on your face.
Groomsman
Joe was the idiot that bought a box of prophecy for his birthday. After surviving the ridicule, Joe was invited to our friend group. Joe and I grew closer as friends and until he moved to Massachusetts. We were able to reconnect through online games and fantasy football, and remain great friends to this day. Joe is the most genuine person that I know.
