Kylie and Nicole met in their sorority at Clemson. When Kylie was a freshman she was looking for her “big sister” in the sorority. Although Kylie and Nicole were never formally partnered to meet each other, they kept finding each other during socials and decided to become Big and Little. Neither Kylie nor Nicole have sisters and have really filled that role for each other and have been best friends ever since!

Jenna Landers

Jenna and Nicole were in the same sorority at Clemson and really came close living on the ADPI hall Sophomore year. That is when they decided to room together the remainder of their time at Clemson. They were attached at the hip all through college and have remained best friends!

Sara Manesiotis

If it weren’t for Sara, Nicole and Mike would have never met! Sara and Nicole played soccer together at Clemson. Nicole always looked up to Sara and how she was always so kind and bubbly to everyone she met. It is no wonder Nicole fell for her brother who has also never met a stranger! All these years later and Nicole gets to have the girl she looked up to in college as her new sister!

Maddy and Nicole are cousins. Maddy is Nicole’s only full first cousin and has always been one of her best friends. The two have been through every stage of life together and are lucky to be so close!

Bailey and Nicole met in their sorority at Clemson. Bailey has always held a special place in Nicole’s heart and is someone that EVERYONE admires. Bailey is the hardest worker with the biggest heart and Nicole feels lucky to get to call her one of her best friends!

Nicole and Leah Grace met in the sorority. When Nicole stopped playing soccer she had more time to get to know more girls in her sorority and quickly became best friends with LG. Thank goodness for that because she is the most genuine and steadfast friend and little did they know she would play a big part in Nicole and Mike’s relationship. LG and her husband Matt lived in DC the same time as Nicole. Matt and Mike were friends and were at a wedding a few months before Christmas 2019. When Matt and LG returned from the wedding they told Nicole all about Mike and how they were surprised the two never connected. This sparked some interest in Nicole and led to her openness to get to know Mike a few months later! Who knew!

Allyson Swygert

Allyson and Nicole met at Clemson through Leah Grace. The two knew of each other but really became close when they both moved to Orlando after college. Allyson and Nicole decided to go on what they call the best first date and decided to move in with each other right then and there. The two girls had THE BEST time as roommates in Orlando. Allyson was a talented performer at Disney which really brightened and brought an incredibly fun aspect to Nicole’s time in grad school. The fun didn’t stop in Orlando as Allyson even ended up living in DC the same time as LG and Nicole.

Damaris (Abby) Sicilia

Damaris is Nicole’s sister in law. She and Nicole’s brother married in Bluffton, April 2023. However, Damaris has been a part of the Sicilia family for much longer! She is the kindest soul and has been there through the entirety of Mike and Nicole’s relationship!

Britney Proudfoot

Britney and Nicole have been best friends since middle school in Connecticut. The two played soccer together and their families became extremely close. Nicole considers Britney’s family her family as well. Although Nicole moved to South Carolina senior year of high school, the two were clearly meant to remain friends since Britney moved to Charleston after college. It took Nicole a few more years to get back to South Carolina but she feels extremely lucky to have a piece of her CT home with her in Charleston ❤️

Abby McFarland

Abby and Nicole met in Charleston. Abby and Kyle (one of Mike’s groomsmen) are some of Mike and Nicole’s best friends in Charleston. As soon as Nicole and Abby met, they realized they had essentially everything in common. You always hear that it is hard to make friends as an adult, so Nicole feels super lucky to have met Abby! The two are two peas in a pod.

Jack and Mike met 28 years ago when Jack was born. He is Mikes little brother and best man.

Mike met Jon after a few months of dating Nicole. Jon is almost exactly one year older than Mike and Jon is also getting married this year. Mike and Jon enjoy playing golf together and drinking rare bourbon. Jon lives in Jacksonville with his wife Abby and their pup Stanley.

Kurt Meyer

Mike met Kurt on the first day of English class at the University of South Carolina during their sophomore year. Mike and Kurt became close because they were the same age (sophomores) and both were pledging different fraternities. Kurt and Mike ended up living together in Olympia Mills their junior and senior years. Even though Kurt lives in San Francisco, Mike and Kurt stay in constant contact and visit each other once a year. Kurt lives in San Fran with his wife Becca and dog Brixton

Dean Hogan

Dean and Mike have been close friends since they were born. Dean and Mike are first cousins and we’re born a week apart from each other. Dean taught Mike how to climb out of his crib when they were babies. They have been very close their whole lives. Dean lives in Ohio with his wife Molly and 4 babies.

Danny Knotts

Daniel and Mike have been good friends since they were pledge brothers in Sigma Chi together at the University of South Carolina. They were roommates in the fraternity house. They visit each other often and play alot of golf together. Danny lives in Atlanta with his wife Grace.

Dan Woods

Mike met Dan while they both worked for the PGA Tour in Jacksonville FL. They became good friends because of interests in sales and golf. Mike and Dan were also roomates when they were promoted to the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro NC. Dan now lives in Charlotte and they try to play as much golf together as they can.

Kenny McMurray

Mike met Kenny on their first day of first grade because of alphabetical seating chart. Both last names start with “M”. Kenny was the quiet one and Mike was the talkative one. Mike and Ken played on many basketball and soccer teams together throughout middle and highschool. They also had several summer jobs together from golf cart beach shuttling to scooping ice cream at Rita’s on the beach. Kenny went to UGA and Mike would go down and visit Kenny throughout college. Kenny lives in ATL with his wife Kathleen and dog Bowie

Mike met Chad while they were pledging at The University if South Carolina. Chad and Mike have a lot of the same interests. Chad is one of Mikes funniest friends. He lives in Atlanta with his daughter and wife Michelle.

Mike met Kyle in Charleston through mutual friends. They both went to the University of South Carolina together but never crossed paths. Kyle and Mike do a lot of activities around Charleston together. Kyles girlfriend Abby and Nicole are very close so it’s a great time hanging together.

EJ met Mike while working together in Charleston. EJ is like a big brother to Mike and they have been close since they met. They play basketball together and won the Mt Pleasant men’s championship. EJ lives in Charleston with his wife Erica and two children

Parker Holloway

Parker and Mike met at USC. They were fraternity brothers. Parker is the only friend that Mike trusts to drive his stick shift jeep wrangler. He’s also Mikes trusty travel advisor. He has been to more cities than Mike can count. Parker lives in Dallas with his wife Mary Meade and their pup!
