Mother of the Groom
Lynn loved her children fiercely and always taught them to stand up for themselves. She was a pillar of the community through her charity and acts of service. To us she was just mom. We often associate "I Hope You Dance" with her wishes for us. Never letting fear prevent us from taking chances, and living life. Today we celebrate not only our union but also her memory, keeping her close in our hearts as we begin this new chapter.
Father of the Groom
Although he is not able to be with us, we carry many of the lessons and adventures with us always. After losing his wife, Charlie stepped up and made sure their three children were taken care and have grew into the men they are today. Growing up our lullabies often featured Jimmy Buffett "He Went to Paris". Charlie taught us that life is hard, but life is beautiful. We face tragedies and miracles. But it's worth living and experiencing always.
Grandparents
Charles and Joyce (JJ) are Michael's maternal grandparents. Although they will not be in attendance, their love for each other and kindness for the world inspire Michael and McLane. They have been together since they were 21 years old and will be celebrating 70 years of marriage on June 19, 2025. Through out their marriage they have championed the importance of friendship as the foundation for a successful relationship. While they cannot be here in person, we will be live-streaming some of the events.
