Flight
This airport should be your chosen destination. Upon arrival, you'll find a pleasant and picturesque 30-minute journey to Medellin's central district, El Poblado. It's an international airport. There are direct flights from Florida & Puerto Rico, otherwise most flights have a layover either in Miami, Panama, or Bogota. We recommend avoiding a Bogota layover if possible as you would then need to go through customs in Bogota and change terminals to continue on to Medellin. We do NOT recommend Uber for airport pickup as they are not allowed there and so they tend to try to pick you up in the parking lot and it's a bit annoying. Through WhatsApp we will share list of recommended drivers for arranging transportation to your hotel. Alternatively, you can opt for a taxi, which should not exceed $30. (Inquire about payment options, as some may accept credit cards.)
Hotel
This is a very nice luxury 5-star hotel. It is just three blocks from our condo, in the heart of the best part of the city for good food, drinks, and parties. It's pricier, but very high end.
Hotel
The Click Clack is an amazing spot all around to stay in. It is located just 5 blocks from our condo, and just off the main streets of Provenza. There are multiple restaurants and three different rooftop bars - one of which we will likely end up at the week of the wedding. The rooms are very cool but minimal, modern. Price isn't too bad by US standards.

Travel Note
For getting around the city, we recommend taking Uber rather than renting a car. Parking can be difficult, and Uber is 1/5th the cost of what you would pay in the US. We also recommend walking and enjoying the city, especially during the day. Poblado is the safest part of the city, so walking around Poblado during the day will be fine. Just be a bit mindful at night as you would be in any other large city. We will either be arranging a bus for the day of the wedding, or else providing updated recommendations in that regard.
House Or Rental
Masaya is a few blocks from us but its a good alternative.
