Question

What does Formal attire look like in the summer?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day! Formal to us means formal dresses (think midi and long dresses) with summer colors/patterns. For men, a suit is recommended! Again, summer colors are best, no need for black tie tuxedos. However, no jeans, denim or shorts. Additionally, the grass on the lawn is soft so ladies, re-think stilettos!

Question

How Do I RSVP? When Should I RSVP?

Answer

For our formal RSVP, please fill out and send back the RSVP card sent with your invitation. The envelope is pre-stamped so fill out the card, put it in the envelope, and drop it off in the mail back to us! Any RSVP's not received by May 15th date will be marked as a "no" as we will be sending final headcounts to vendors shortly after this deadline - you will be missed!

Question

Will the Wedding Be Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be outdoors! The cocktail hour will be an indoor/outdoor vibe, and the dinner/dancing will be inside at the venue! We are hoping for a low 80's sunny day with a light breeze, but Maryland can get humid in the summer so dress accordingly!

Question

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Answer

Our venue has instructed us to let all guests know that bartenders are subject to carding guests, so please bring an ID to the wedding!

Question

Can I Bring a Plus One?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your envelope. If you received a plus one, their name will be written on the envelope you received in the mail.

Question

Are Kids Welcome?

Answer

Although we love your children, we, regretfully, cannot accommodate everyone's children at our wedding due to restricted numbers and space. We hope that you will see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy the party with us!!

Question

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is complimentary guest parking! Signs will be posted at the entrance of the venue and a parking attendant will direct you to the appropriate lot. Additionally, if you are staying at one of the recommended hotels, we do have transportation to take you to and from the venue. Timing of the bus transportation will be announced closer to the wedding date, so be on the lookout!

Question

What Time Should I Arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:30 pm. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for finding your seat

Question

Will There Be An Open Bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you -- get ready to party!!!

Question

Can I Take Pictures During the Ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you! Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and share them with us!
