Duos used to be a coffee shop that Michael went to often growing up. A coffee shop that also had ice cream = Duos. The owners of thinkwell had taken over Duos across from Wartburg college prior to COVID. After Duos closed from the pandemic, they reopened here as their own brand. Enjoy their delicious blends :)
This park and trail that runs through was frequented by Michael growing up to go anywhere. On foot or by by and especially during the summers! This trail runs by the Cedar River, near Nestle factory (if you're lucky enough you can smell hot cocoa in the morning), and comes out the other side of town near Sub City or the court house, right to main street downtown!
A wonderful place for a walk, birdwatching, or coming across deer or horses. Cody and Michael had a date in the wee hours of the morning one winter in the bird watching house to await any birds that might come by. Cody had brought his camera and was ready to capture wild life!
