Things To Do
Downtown Cincinnati
Downtown Cincinnati is about 25 minutes from Betsy and Michael's wedding venue in Loveland, OH. Some of Michael and Betsy's favorite things to do include walking around Smale Riverfront Park along the Ohio River (the location of their first date!), grab a drink at the Banks, and walk across the Purple People Bridge to Northern Kentucky. Paycor Stadium, where the Bengals play, and Great American Ball Park, where the Reds play, are also located downtown at the Banks. Some of our favorite places to eat downtown include Sotto and Mita's. Some great places to grab a drink downtown include rooftop bars at the Lytle Park Hotel and the AC Hotel at the Banks. Braxton Brewery and Covington Yards is also across the river in Northern Kentucky.
Over-The-Rhine
Over-The-Rhine, or "OTR" as the locals call it, is the historic neighborhood just north of downtown Cincinnati filled with shops, restaurants, bars, and parks. This is where Betsy and Michael love spending their weekends. Some of our favorite restaurants in OTR include Pepp & Delores, LouVino, and The Eagle. Rhinegeist Brewery is one of the largest brewery in Cincinnati and is a must-see. There are so many shops, restaurants, and bars as well on Vine St and Main St. Some things to do and see in OTR include Findlay Market, Washington Park, and Cincinnati Music Hall.
Loveland Bike Trail
A bike trail located in Loveland that goes right past Michael and Betsy's wedding venue! There are plenty of bike rental's located in Downtown Loveland.
Skyline Chili
Skyline Chili is a Cincinnati staple and the most iconic Cincinnati dish. Known for their chili on top of spaghetti topped with a mound of cheddar cheese, it is perfect for a late night food stop. If you are an Out-Of-Towner, this is a must try if you want to get the true Cincinnati experience. Just ask for a 3-Way and Cheese Coney!
MadTree Brewing
MadTree Brewing is one of Michael and Betsy's favorite places to grab a drink and hang out with friends. MadTree is located in Oakley, which is a great neighborhood on the east side of Cincinnati with lots to do. Betsy's go-to drink is Shade and Michael's favorite drink is a Coffee Table Blonde Ale.
Mazunte Taqueria
Mazunte is one of Michael and Betsy's favorite restaurants in Cincinnati. Michael's go to order is the chorizo memelitas and Betsy's go to order is the pork tostadas. Mazunte is located in Madisonville, Cincinnati.
Green Papaya
Green Papaya is another one of Betsy and Michael's favorite restaurants. It is a Thai restaurant along the Wasson Way trail in Hyde Park, OH. Betsy and Michael's favorite dishes are the pad thai and massaman curry.
Kings Island
Kings Island is an amusement park located about 15 minutes from Betsy and Michael's venue.
National Museum of the US Air Force
The US Air Force Museum is located about 1 hour north of Cincinnati in Dayton, OH and admission to the museum is free. If you are interested in aviation and aerospace, this is one of the best military aviation museums in the world, with over 360 aircraft and missiles on display. You might even see some of the engines and aircrafts that Michael works on!
Devou Park
Devou Park is a hilltop park in Covington, KY that overlooks the downtown Cincinnati skyline. Drive up here at sunset for an amazing overlook view of Cincinnati!
