In 2023, we took a quick trip to Cabo. We loved the desert-meets-the-sea landscape, the beautiful sunsets, and the warmest ocean water we've ever been in. We immediately thought of it as the location for our wedding. We also love how close it is to LA, where many of our guests are coming from.
We are asking that all of our guests stay with us on the resort. It's required by PB Sunset that all wedding guests are also guests of the resort. This is a gated complex and outside guests will not be allowed on the property. We chose this resort with you in mind! We understand that an all-inclusive experience may not be in everyone's budget, but we did our best to select a resort that was the most affordable option without sacrificing a wonderful, relaxing experience.
Yes! We love kids and babies and want you to feel welcome to bring your children. We specifically chose a kid-friendly resort with this in mind. The resort even has a kids club and a pool for children. We hope that you will experience a fun and restful vacation as a family while celebrating with us.
We want this to be the best vacation you've had in a long time, and if that means bringing your significant other, we would love them to be there as well. If your invitation did not include a plus one, please reach out to us and let us know you'd like to bring your partner, so we can include them.
Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place outdoors, unless weather foils the plans.
The resort is huge, but totally walkable if you're looking to get your steps in! There are also golf carts available to take you from one location to the next.
Yes! The resort has multiple restaurants with many different options. At the Market there will always be vegan and gluten free options available. And of course we will have veg and gf options at our wedding reception.
Honey, you'll be able to drink like a fish during your whole resort stay, including at our wedding, where there will be an open bar!
While Cabo is known for its beautiful ocean views and gorgeous beaches, it's generally not safe to swim in the ocean. At our resort, the beach is for laying out and building sand castles. Please do not go in the water. The current is notoriously strong and very dangerous to swim in. If you'd like to swim in the ocean, you can take a complimentary shuttle from our resort to the sister property, PB Rosé, which is located on one of Cabo's only swimmable beaches, Medano Beach. We also recommend taking a snorkel tour to experience the beautiful ocean. And of course, there are six outdoor pools on the resort for you to enjoy!
The high temperatures in May range between 85 - 91, and it drops to high 60s and low 70s in the evenings. There is also the possibility of high winds, which can make it feel very chilly. We recommend bringing some layering options for the evenings - especially for the reception, which is located in an area that can get very windy.
Yes. Please make sure your passport is updated and valid. Your passport should have at least 6 months validity from your travel dates. If you don’t already have a passport, please make sure to apply soon!
Gratuity is included in the rate we have secured with Pueblo Bonito Sunset. However, if you encounter exceptional service from concierge, housekeeping, cart drivers, bartenders, shuttle drivers, and wait staff, you’re more than welcome to!
We will be getting there early in the week, on Tuesday, and we plan on staying until the following Wednesday. We want this to be a vacation for you, so please come as early and stay as late as you'd like! However, if you can only make it for two nights (Friday and Saturday) we also understand.
Please email Michaela at michaelaistall@gmail.com if you have any questions.
