Murph has always taken on the role of "protective older brother" in our family - though she is neither older nor my brother. Nevertheless, she's always made it clear to Mags and me that gaining her approval with a boyfriend would be hard... she'd be tough. Even still, after my first date with Weston, she sat up with me in the kitchen till 1 am eating cake out of the pan, listening to my musings, and telling me she had a really good feeling about him. When Murph later affirmed what I had already felt, that he was the one, I knew she meant it. Murph is a must-have in your corner, and I am SO blessed I have her as both a sister and best friend.

Best Man
Jack McPherson is my best friend (aside from Michaela). He has been a brother to me since we met in Spanish 101 at Hillsdale College in 2016. Ever since then, we have done everything together. We have endured a great deal, sharpened one another, and grown as men and brothers. He has had one of the most lasting impacts on me. Without him, I would not be a man worthy to marry Michaela. Loyal, trustworthy, insightful, holy, and supportive--these are just a few of the qualities of Jack, my best and right-hand man.

"Pure sweetness" is the best way to describe Mags! My baby sister, Maggie has always been Murph's and my built-in BFF. She is unbelievably brilliant, beautiful, kind, and loving. All who know her love her, and come away happier and more loving as a result. She's the first to listen in times of need and gives the world's best hugs. Half the time, Weston likes her more than me. Okay... more than half. She is a perfect model of generosity of time, heart, and friendship! My greatest gift is having her and Murphy in my life, to constantly teach me and make me better.
Camden Boardman
Best Man
Camden is the middle child--the one who always knew how to get under my skin and get away with anything with his unmatched sense of humor. I will never forget the day that Michaela told me with such excitement that Camden said, "I love you back" to her. What he says, he means. Though he has grown a great deal over the past couple of years, he will always be my little brother that I am proud of and need by my side as my other best man for the big day and all those afterward.

Our sweet Ave! I am lucky to have a future sister-in-law that is so funny, talented, strong, and kind. Avenlee welcomed me with open arms into their family and instantly became a wonderful friend and confidant. Though she is incredibly humble, Avenlee is a woman of many talents and has a heart that is always serving others. She has a sixth sense of what people need and always answers to it. I am so excited to have her stand beside me at our wedding, as she's always held such an integral part in Weston's heart and will forever hold the same in mine.
Quinton Boardman

Quinton is the next oldest brother after Camden. If you have ever talked to Quinton, you know he can outsmart most, sometimes even himself. Yet, he is a strong and humble servant for everyone he meets. I can always depend on Quinton to be there or to keep quiet about the trouble we caused. Just like Camden, he'll be with me through every moment, big and small, just as he will be a groomsman on my wedding day.
Andrea Ritchey

10 years ago, Andrea sat up with me talking about my gigantic, hopeless crush on Weston, and will stand beside me when he becomes my forever! Even with spending over a decade of friendship across international lines, Andrea has remained my absolute best friend and other half in everything. I am convinced that one of her hugs or 6 hour FaceTime calls, a pint of Ben n Jerry's, and a Bridesmaids movie marathon could cure any problem and probably solve world hunger. She's just that good! Courageous, kind, and the best mama to Leighton (our godson!) there ever could be, Andrea is truly incomparable and everyone should be so lucky to have a bonus sister like her.

Patrick Farrell is a man with a heart of gold and one of my closest friends. He has an ability to get to the core of problems, encourage others--especially me--, and push everyone he meets toward sainthood. Moreover, I cannot count the number of times he has made me laugh until I cried. One day, we'll see his name on TV; but for now, his name will be on the list of my best friends and groomsmen.

If only I could count the number of hours Becca and I spent in deep conversation tucked in the aisles of Bookmans and on the side of Lake Mary, tackling every single topic - big and small. We've stood together through countless big moments in life and I am beyond blessed to have her stand beside me on my big day as well. Also a military wife, Becca is already my saving grace in keeping me sane when things get tough! Becca inspires everyone around her to be truly authentic, brave, and go after their dreams. Goodness, how I love her!

You cannot begin to describe Dan without mentioning his intellect, stoicism, honesty, and manly courage. He is truly a product of the Midwest and a great man. He has been a mentor to me in the Marine Corps and life and knows the right thing to say at the right place and time. With his trademark candor, he has called me up to be a better man, and I will always deeply value his friendship.

A fellow aficionado of plain foods, country music, spontaneous adventures, and all things light and lovely, Sarah became a quick best friend after we met on a Catholic Instagram page! She is the friend I wish everyone could someday have - kind, giving, selfless, and true. She is the incredible talent behind each of Weston’s and my pictures, including the surprise engagement! Everyone knows we are her biggest fans (I really should have some sort of badge for it), and her kind heart, friendship, and faith will forever be gifts in our lives.

God placed us together at The Basic School, and I will be forever grateful to count Dave as one of my closest friends. To say that we had a rough time at TBS would be an understatement, but over time I came to witness his exemplary character, integrity, and well-natured humor. I have taken the under that in 25 years, Dave will be off the grid being the best father and husband. And honestly, I may join him.

This angel will be the most beautiful girl at our wedding! Brielle, in spite of her disabilities, is the happiest person alive and teaches everyone around her how to find joy in the smallest of things. It is truly fitting that a modern-day saint should deliver the flowers we will give to Mary and Joseph during our wedding Mass. Brielle, we both love you so much!

Though we went to college together, we did not become close until God placed us at the same place doing the same work. I know it was not a coincidence. It has been an incredible privilege to befriend John whose sarcasm is equally matched by his loyalty and kindness. I am sure now that our friendship will be lifelong. He has been such a support to Michaela and me as we have done long distance, to the point of even taking the deployment after me so that we could be married and never be apart like that again. He is truly a man of faith and character, and I wouldn't be getting married today if it weren't for his sacrifice.

This is my look-a-like and littlest brother, Ryker. I love him to death, and one day he will outsmart and outgrow me. My mini twin holds a place of honor, delivering the rings, and a special place in the hearts of Michaela and me.
