A tale as old as time. We started as coworkers. At first, I thought Krista was a little rowdy, but intriguing. One overnight shift, she asked me what I like to do for “shits and gigs”, and I said gaming. We quickly realized we enjoyed each other's company and had unique perspectives on our similar experiences. From there, our friendship blossomed into something more. We discovered a deep connection and found a soulmate in each other. What began as casual conversations on long nights turned into a love story that we cherish every day.

Returning to the beach where we first made our relationship official five years prior, I knew it was time to take the next step. Despite practicing my proposal countless times, my nerves took over. The busy beach made it hard to set the mood, and I might have blacked out for a moment because I can't remember exactly what I said. But when I pulled out the ring, Krista saw my sincerity and said yes without hesitation. Despite the jitters, she knew it came from the heart.
