Start your morning early by heading to the Rocky Mountain Bagel Company downtown. They offer a wide variety of options to choose from. I personally love ordering the BLT Bagel with Herb and garlic Cream Cheese paired with a cheeky Skor Latte.
Once your bellies are full you should take a stroll and explore all the shops that Downtown Canmore has to offer. My favourite Art Gallery is down this street!
If you’re craving something sweet, you absolutely have to try BeaverTails! These delicious, fried dough pastries are served hot and come with a variety of irresistible toppings to satisfy your sweet tooth. Whether you go for the classic cinnamon sugar, indulge in chocolate hazelnut spread, or try a fruit-filled creation, each bite is pure bliss. Perfect for a snack to fuel your adventures.
If you’ve had your fill of shopping and the weather is warm, I highly recommend grabbing your bathers and heading to the Reservoir. Stand-up paddleboarding here is an incredible experience. Paddle Boards can be rented at the Reservoir or at a variety of rental stores downtown.
After a lovely day out, get ready and make your way to Lupo, a fantastic Italian restaurant in Banff. For the best value, visit during Happy Hour (Sun - Fri 4:30–5:30 pm | Sat 4:00–5:00 pm), when prices are lower and portions are generous. The 'Uncle Morty' pizza is an absolute standout—easily the best I’ve ever had! Cap off your evening by sipping sundowners on the balcony while enjoying the stunning views.
If you're in the mood for a boogie, head on over to Mel's! Enjoy a couple more beers and soak in the energy of live music—it's the perfect way to keep the good vibes rolling.
This is one of our favorite breakfast spots in town. I'd recommend the Duck Duck Benny which pairs perfectly with the Creme Brule Waffles!
After you're good and bloated from breakfast, why not take a soak in the hot springs!
On the way down from the Hot Springs, Swing by the Fairmont Banff Springs and scope out the Golf Course and the Castle! The Bow Falls is worth a stop on the way back to town.
Next stop is lunch. Across from Tooloulous is Eddie Burger Bar. Really good burgers and a little pick me up in the form a drink called the Trash Can.
Next up while the food is settling is a little road trip. Make your way towards Canmore and take a nice drive up to Grassi Lakes. Beautiful little spot.
On your way out from Grassi Lakes take the back way through Kananaskis and do the loop through to the Casino. Its an awsome drive with a good chance to see some wildlife. Just don't pet the bears! Once you're at the Casino, bet big and win enough to pay for your gas!
Last stop on this perfect day is to unwind and sip some good beer at Banff Ave Brewing Co. I'd recommend any of their sours!
