After a magical few days in Florence celebrating the marriage of friends Jenn and Ilya, we headed off to Positano to stuff our faces with pasta and rest our tired feet on the beach. One rainy day, Kelly insisted on a hike to earn our pre dinner pizza, but our legs were not up to the task. And good thing- as that night's restaurant reached out saying they had to be there 2 hours early in order to get the tasting menu (not actually true). They quickly got ready and were about to leave- until Kelly said he had a surprise on the balcony for Samantha's recent promotion. She opened the doors, but due to the sky having opening up didn't step out. She turned and confusing asked Kelly why it said spouse in Italian in flowers. He got down on one knee and it all made sense.
