State Park with large swimming area (Echo Lake), beach, boat rentals, playground, picnic benches. Cash required for entrance fee ($5 for adults, $2 for children).
Hiking at White Rocks Recreation Area
Local hiking area with a couple options: The Ice Bed Trail is an easy-moderate 3 mile out and back trail (blue markers) that takes you to a massive rock pile with a year round ice bed hidden underneath.
